Ozium 4.5 Oz. Odor Eliminating Gel, Air Freshener Alternative

If you want the long story, read on. Otherwise, these work albeit with a little bit of a “masking scent”. I had purchased an old wooden cabinet from a thrift shop to store vinyl records (if you’re not into vinyl, keep it that way. Save you a lot of cash!) When I got the cabinet home, I fully realized it would need a cleaning and a little wood putty; nothing huge. It had a bit of a “funk” to it; not Rick James funk, more like bar urinal funk. I cleaned it with oil soap and put it outside to dry. Brought it inside and aah, much better. For a day. I YT’d cleaning furniture and saw “vinegar”. Ok. Let’s try vinegar. Nope. Funk remained. I also saw “ozone generators”. Now I’m thinking that’s costing some $$$. Let’s holdoff on that. Go on Amazon and there’s these gems, Ozium and they even sound like “ozone”. I had previously tried another manufacturer of these “air fresheners” to no avail, but the write up on the Ozium seemed consistently good. I put two of these Oziums in the cabinet, and the funk is gone! Depending on which version you buy, you’ll get more of the masking scent. I bought the “odorless”, and it’s definitely not odorless. But it’s not offensive. Much better than a bar urinal.

We use these for our patrol trucks..thanks so much for such an amazing product. Our guys put 150 miles a night on our vehicles and they can get smelly. These help so much and make the guys feel more comfortable with the fresh scent..

I was skeptical because these little containers don’t look like they’d do much, but wow… they actually work. I used one in my car and another near my pet’s favorite nap spot, and both smell so much fresher. It doesn’t just cover odors—it helps get rid of them. Tiny but mighty!

Not a good buy. Does not help to eliminate odors at all, especially cigarette smoke, and it doesn’t give off a smell at all once it’s been left in a small car for several days. You have to put your face right into the jar to get a smell of the scent. I got the new car scent. Purchase pack of four. They are the gel type air fresheners that you can get for $1 at the Dollar Store, except the dollar store smells stronger. I left a completely opened jar of this product in my car for 3 days and it did not smell like anything changed. I figured I’d buy 4 to put a few in the bathroom but it did not help make the air smell any different. Tried in a house with a person who smokes, and it did not help at all. This is really misleading with pretty packaging and good marketing, after trying this product, it does not deliver what it claims, with regard odors. If I hadn’t thrown the packaging away, I would have returned it. Definitely will not recommend or buy again.

Arrived wet from the product escaping it's container. The clear inner lining (like on some ketchup bottles) was not fully sealed/attached in 3 out of the 4 in this multipack. Smell is nice. Just got them today so longevity is not rated here. Thankfully the 4 pack was wrapped in plastic so nothing escaped the outer packaging. Update, the scent is good but weak in certain areas like small hall bathrooms. Does well in enclosed stair well. Not sure it 'absorbs' odors. Would try another brand in the future.

4 stars because the spray Ozium works faster and has stronger cover up smell. This has the same nice odor and I really like that it’s more mild than the spray but it’s definitely better designed to be a long term solution, not something to cover up an immediate smell. I really like that it’s adjustable and you can select how much the container is open. This nicely sits on top of my dog’s crate and keeps overall dog odors down. As far as dog gas, I have Ozium spray on hand for that. Update: bumping this up to 5 stars! While the spray is still amazing at addressing odors immediately, this helps so much for lingering odors. Unfortunately my dogs got sprayed by a skunk. We’ve been working hard to remove the odor and clean everything. New Ozium containers were opened and placed by each of their beds and it’s made a noticeable difference.

Opium is my go to. I buy a pack of 4 every year to place in some in cellar and enclosed porch. Theyvtake that musty stale air smell away. Excellent product!

Worth it

I was skeptic at first , but then tried it, it’s the best odor eliminating product, with toddler and pet at home, it gets stinky sometimes, but no complaints with this products

Not even new car smell.. just the smell of soap Bought a pack of 4… wish I could refund the other 3…
