Great early fraction toy
My two and a half year old likes the Haba color pie, the paper inserts work great for using it as a puzzle, training shape, size and color recognition. She also likes just putting in the pieces however she likes which I’m hoping will help her learn fractions as she gets a little older, so far we have talked about half’s and thirds. There is also enough pieces to create your own freestyle patterns out on the floor. Each piece has a nice weight to them and a good size, not too small or flimsy, overall it seems like a good quality product.

HABA = High Quality
Of all the wood toys I have gotten for my children, HABA toys are far superior in quality. The wood is always smooth with no splinters or uneven surfaces. The paint doesn't wear off. I purchased their blocks eight years ago for my first child. A few kids late and hours of use, the blocks still look good as new while other brands paint is worn and flaking. We now have had our last child and are starting to let go of toys. HABA toys will be the ones I will pack away and save for my grandchildren.

Terrific deal!
Really nice! Durable. Many ways to play. I wish there was a whole circle for teaching fractions to very young children because although you can use the container as one whole because its not exactly the right size it matters. Other than that really great! Good size, quality pieces and can be used for about a million things. I thought the price for the quality was excellent!

Great for learning fractions
Great for learning fractions, and imaginative play! Regarding fractions, unlike many fraction learning pieces these aren't labelled (e.g., 1/2, 1/8)... which is great for kids figuring out the concepts on their own. Because it is wood and colorful, it is aesthetically pleasing.

Very versatile!
I thought it would be a while before my two year old would be interested in this set but I was wrong! At first, she just likes to line up all of the pieces and group by color. Then she started to work through the eight “puzzle” templates (four double sided plastic sheets). Today, she pulled out her Hape pizza set and decided to play with these sets together and by happy coincidence, they are a perfect fit for each other! I’m excited to use this set for fraction work down he road and am very pleased with the overall quality. Note: hape pizza set also pictured here.

Great Product
It's larger than I was expecting. I skipped past it the first time I came across it, because the picture didn't do it justice. It seems very sturdy, educational, my 4 year old likes it, and it looks like it will grow with him.

Awesome!
Great for toddlers. The pieces are colorful easy to hold in hands. To take them out their is evn a small finger hole on the side of the base. Great for learning fractions in a fun way.

This was given as a gift. Seems to be well made and I like the fact that it can be played with in different ways, depending on the age of the child. I'm guessing this will start out as a pie, with slices. :)
