Does the job but is high maintenance
This is a pretty basic device and is similar to other guitar humidifiers on the market. My only complaint is that the sponge dries out pretty quickly because it is small, so this method of humidifying a guitar is pretty high maintenance. Also, some mold grew on the sponge even though I have been using distilled water. I had to rinse it in diluted bleach to get rid of the mold, then I rinsed the sponge very thoroughly with distilled water. I use this device in conjunction with the Boveda for music packs to keep the humidity in the guitar case within a good range.

Seems to stay damp longer than my other humidifier
I have a Music Nomad guitar humidifier and needed another. This was a good price so gave it a try. It stays damp longer than the Music Nomad but the top is more of a stopper. The Music Nomad has a spring loaded top which is easier to use. Maybe the stopper keeps the water in better if you don't squeeze out enough water and store the case on its side rather than laying flat on its back. (Whatever brand you get don't stick a dripping sponge in your guitar. Squeeze it out so it's damp but not dripping.)

A good, effective, inexpensive humidifier.
I got this because of a dry interior during the winter. My guitar was losing tone and the action was getting higher. I tried another humidifier which worked well but was a bit expensive. This couldn't be simpler. Soak the sponge in distilled water and put it in the rubberized housing. Put that between the strings of the guitar. Check the sponge at least once a week. If it's dry, soak it again.

Easy to use, a good value
I like this and soften it up with distilled water every few days. It should last a lifetime because it's so simple. Our humidity here is between 10 and 30%. What you need for a guitar is about 50%. I don't know if I'm acheiving this when the guitar is not in the case. It might depend on your climate whether you need to leave the guitar in a case with this. I might look for a measurement device to put in my case to see if I'm getting close to 50%. This was a great value and I am sure it improves the environment for my classical guitar given how dry it is here.

Great Product
Works very well. Really good quality product. The sponge is hard at first but after using it a few times it softens up. I’m definitely getting one more for my other guitar.

Seems alright, but man the sponges dry up quickly
I didn't expect I'd have to soak them as often, but eh, better than nothing perhaps. It was recommended by my local guitar shop, and I do love D'Addario stuff, so, using them anyway.

Excelente
