Me and my girlfriend absolutely love these curtains. The material is pretty think and feels really well made. Not only do theses completely block sun light, but we have noticed a dramatic change in the amount of heat our room gains during the day. We have not experienced a winter yet with these curtains installed but i'm pretty certain they will help reduce the amount of heat lost to our large windows.Also the first few mornings we had these curtains up my girlfriend and I were late for work because we were so used to being woken up by the sun light.

These are perfect for our needs. Nice and thick, great color, good length. We used them to cover three windows (two curtain panels). We like the symmetry and we can easily choose how many windows to display. The curtains block the light quite well and the grommets allow for great movement along the curtain rods. The color is exactly as pictured. I will say, though, that when the light reflects off the back there is a little bit of a pinky glow but you can't see it that much.

I'm not using these to hang from my windows. I got them for a different purpose. I'm about to start making review videos and I was looking for what would be the best thing to use as a backdrop. I have an archway that separates my living room and dining room and that's were I have chosen to hang my new Prestige Blackout Curtains. I was fortunate enough to get one panel to try in return for my honest review. I was so pleased when it arrived. It's a really, really good quality curtain. It's very think and looks expensive. The antique bronze grommet rings gives it a touch of class. I think it's very pretty. I chose the black color and I really like it because it has a little sheen to it. Once my husband hung it up, I purchased a second panel. It looked great and I'll bet the Burgundy and the Chocolate colors are beautiful too.When my husband and I went to Lowes to get the rods and brackets to hang it with. The girl who was assisting us told us to make sure we added a middle bracket to make sure it would stay balanced and they rod wouldn't give/bend due to the weight of the curtain. She was so right because it's not a wimpy thin curtain at all.The panel of course has some creases and arrived with a few wrinkles so I'll probably have them dry cleaned. Which could possible cost more than the panel itself..lol Although the description said that they are machine washable. I'm going to continue to dry clean them to keep them looking as new as possible. It also comes with an extra piece of cloth (I don't know what it's called) to hold the drapes open. I was happy about that, because this backdrop is like a permanent kinda thing, so this way the archway is not always completely covered and we can walk freely between the living room and dining room.As far as blocking out light I can only say that from the thickness and quality of the curtains that I have no doubt they would do an amazing job.As for the purpose I'm using it for. I found the perfect thing that works in the only area in my little tiny house that I I could use to make videos and not have to make a lot of changes or move furniture around.This turned out great for me and I hope this review might help someone who was looking to find something to use as a backdrop for photos and videos.I only added one picture that shows one curtain for now, but my second one will be here in a couple of days, so I'll add more pictures. Curtains were very easy to install and I didn't have to shorten them. Curtains were thicker then expected and hang very nice. I use them for blocking off the stairs that go upstairs from the basement. The TV room is in the basement and the curtains stop the light upstairs from coming into the basement (Dark enough downstairs to enjoy the movies on the TV screen). Blocks out some of the sound that goes upstairs from the TV. Was worth the money.

These work awesome! We live in an apartment and prefer not to AC the whole place and use these as a barrier/curtain between our living room and kitchen. The living room cools down in such a shorter amount of time now compared to when we didnt have the curtains up. The burgandy/red color is wicked nice too!

These were so reasonably priced but look great covering a very wide combination of a patio door and windows. Although the are very light, they block the sun very well and also provide decent insulation when fully closed. Quality looks good, very happy with the purchase.

I love these drapes. They look expensive, don't look creased, and a lovely inky navy. Material not too flimsy and retain their shape when hanging. I have slightly tinted windows, but even so, the room is dark when drawn.

Great deal (I got this on the low end of the price point spectrum). My only knock is that if you are going to use this as a "blackout" curtain the make certain that you give an extra 8 inches under the listed width - as the pleats won't stretch well to block sun light.
