As pictured the unit is supplied with two three foot leads for the hot wire and ground (red and black). Add additional wire to the leads if needed.

What does the night mode do/used for ?

How long does it take to initially charge the battery using the adaptor?

I don't remember exactly because it's been awhile but I think I changed mine over night or one day. Something like that
