Just the right size
I bought the smaller 5" pot but it was just a little to small and this larger 8" pot was just what I needed. Then I broke my old pot that I had another orchard in and I was glad I had the small pot which was just right for it. So all is right in my orchard world. They are a beautiful match set. They are sturdy, drains well for the orchards also has a hole in the bottom for draining and, complete with a saucer so I don't have to worry about over watering or protecting my furniture. Amazon also sells the bark which I thinks is a must have so not to over water and proper growth material. My plant is doing so well I'm starting to get a second stem growth on it, along with flowers buds on the old stem. The pot comes in three sizes.

Better than expected.
Absolutely beautiful, now to try my hand at repotting. Was larger than expected. I think that is a good thing. More room for growth.

Beautiful and functional
Love the pot and so does my orchid! It arrived just in time. I needed to repot her and her soil was to damp. This pot helps air out the soil and prevent over watering.

Beautiful orchid pot
It's a beautiful pot. It could be used as a candle holder too, with a small pillar or with a glass candle holder. I would have given it 5 stars but the plate that it sits on has a little chip out of it that I didn't notice until I threw out the box. So, I kept it and still love it. My orchid seems happier. It was totally root bound and looking sad. It has perked up since I repotted it.

Very nice orchid pot.
This new 6.5 inch orchid pot fit my plant very well. It has decorative leaf-shaped holes in it to provide aeration for the plant, and it comes with a tray of the same material to catch any water that drips through. Being ceramic, the pot is much sturdier than the plastic one the plant came it....it doesn't tip over now and doesn't have to be propped up. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Pretty pot for orchids!
I received an orchid as a gift a year ago. All I did was water it with ice cubes once a week. It bloomed last winter and then started booming again in early summer! I watched some you tube videos on how to care for it. A pot with holes in the sides was highly recommended. I decided to repot it in this gorgeous pot (and started feeding it.) It's doing great as you can see!

How will my orchid flourish in this pot?
This is a lovely orchid pot ( a little larger than I need, but it will work fine). I haven't planted my orchid yet and my only question left will be, "Will the potting medium come through the larger holes?" I'm hoping,not. One other question, What is the green, plastic sheet with white spots on the edge for, that was included with my order? Thanks for your answer.
