I’ve bought this twice. Love the ratchet style belt. Previous belt lasted 18 months, that’s less than a dollar a month for this belt. I had considered buying several to have a stockpile.

At first I ordered the beige, which was too yellowish & too bright for me. I’m returning that one. Then I ordered the khaki & tge color was more toned down & not yellowish. I like this color. Now as to the belt itself. No instructions with it or on amazon, so unlike me, figure out how to get it off BEFORE you put it on. Its a little tricky. Other than that its a great belt. Can’t tell durability yet, since I just got it. However, the size adjustability is great & allows very precise size adjustment. Looks classy too.

I haven't seen ratchet belts at retail stores. I think for people who have never heard of this type of belt like myself before a close relative mentioned them to me, I'd buy regular belts and they'd break in 3-9 months from normal wear and tear. Belts at first weren't too bad but then they got more and more expensive. Cheap quality material in retail stores was all I could find. I was willing to pay more for a durable, comfortable belt, and ratchet belts take care of this. They are adjustable, you can cut the length if you need to, and they are a bit more expensive at the beginning than regular belts, but not over the top expensive. They last at least 1 year or maybe 2-3 years more likely. I'd rather spend around $20 for one quality belt rather than 10-15 on 3 belts in a year. Even if I might end up slightly cheaper on the cheaper quality belts, there's still the potential of having to go back to the store for another belt, as I would only get one belt at the store because I wasn't all that crazy about the design. With the ratchet belts online, there's many more options for selection and I can choose that more overly casual color red but then have white or blue that are neutrally professionally enough but still feel comfortable even if my weight changes.
