Great value
The media could not be loaded. Works well once paired have to add app for control from phone had no issues connecting it to wifi but does need a 2.4 connection meaning some newer connections like wifi 6 7 and up may have issues connecting wifi 5 and 4 should work easily. Be aware LED lights sold separately.Easy lift and clip tabs and to spots to screw in and hold controller box. We'll made and good price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy if you need

Used it to make motion sensor lighting on my staircase
LED strips always look well-diffused if you put them in the right places, in this case under a handrail. You need to get the controller separately. Initially I was not getting good electrical contact between the wire leads and the controller (i.e. colors were missing), but a little readjustment and no problem. So my desired end result is a dim orangish light that only comes on when people are using the stairs (because I also got a motion sensor). Useful at night. Parents are happy. When you peel off the adhesive cover, do it very carefully, as you can peel the actual adhesive off with the cover (at least I did). If that happens, just stick it back on and be more careful removing just the covering. Strip is controlled from Smart Life app, which I do wish had more functionality, but that is a different topic. The strip has a substantial clear silicone cover on it. I've never seen a strip like that before but I like it for a couple reasons. Firstly, I would imagine it helps eliminate any theoretical fire risk because it creates a barrier that keeps oxygen out. Second, it makes the strip a bit more rigid so you don't accidentally fold it in half too sharply and damage it. Would buy again.

Used to replace remote control dimmer module that came with lights
The under cabinet lights I wanted over the sink came with a dimmer module that required its own separate proprietary remote control. I used this instead to integrate with my Google Home controlled smart lights / devices. Very easy to mount and wire. Like the built-in terminal strips.

Good Smart Lighting Controller with a Slight Issue
I recently installed the GIDERWEL Smart 5 in 1 WiFi LED Controller for my strip lights, and overall, it's a fantastic product with a few minor issues. Here's my detailed review:The versatility of this controller is impressive. It supports monochrome, WW CW, RGB, RGBW, and RGB+CCT LED strips, with the standard mode being RGBCCT 5 channel output. I love that I can easily set the light strip type as needed using the pairing button.Control through the smartphone app is straightforward. By installing the Smart Life or TUYA app, I can manage my lights from anywhere, create schedules, and set automations that fit my lifestyle. Just note that it only works on a 2.4G WiFi network and doesn't support 5G.Voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant is another excellent feature. I can turn the lights on and off, change colors, and adjust the brightness with simple voice commands, making my smart home experience truly hands-free.The option for group control and settings is convenient, especially with the additional purchase of the 4-Zone RT10 remote. I can group multiple controllers and manage them simultaneously, which is perfect for larger setups. The music sync and scene modes are fantastic for creating the right atmosphere, whether it's for a party or a cozy evening at home. The lights responding to music add a fun element to any gathering. However, the reason for the four-star rating is the compatibility issue with Alexa. When I set a routine to change to "Color 1" and then another routine triggers to change to "Color 2," I can't revert back to "Color 1" without the strip turning off, weather by app or voice command, I would need to change to "Color 3", again by app or voice command, before being able to go back to "Color 1", as going to "Color 2" will only turn on "Color 2" but again when changing to "Color 1" it would be still be off. This also happens when changing colors directly in the Alexa app in that same order. Interestingly, this issue cannot be replicated in the Smart Life App but only because how the color selection there works forcing you to use the gradient selection bars causing to affect brightness, even if 1%, and color, thus adding another change so that's why I think it work fine in the Smart Life app while on the Alexa app you're plainly changing colors, not brightness and color simultaneously.Despite this minor inconvenience, the GIDERWEL Smart 5 in 1 WiFi LED Controller is an excellent product. Its versatility, ease of use, and advanced features make it a worthwhile addition to any smart home lighting setup. I recommend it, especially if you're primarily using the Smart Life app for control.Pro Tip:If you're insistent on using the Alexa routines (as I was), you can add the 3rd color change (I used pink since it was the closest to white) to the routine, here's the order that it would need.Routine for Color 1:Turn on LED, set brightness, set to "Color 3"Add 5 second waitChange LED to Color 1.Routine for Color 2:Turn on LED, set brightness, set to "Color 3"Add 5 second waitChange LED to Color 2.As you can see, you're adding the 3rd color in between each routine color change but it needs that 5 seconds wait (the lowest wait time available), this was the only way I found to make Alexa routines work with this LED controller. This routine can obviously be replicated for any color you want at the end, just reserve "Color 3" else it will fail once it hits a routing that calls for "Color 3" in the end. You can also incorporate this routine into a larger routine, just make sure to add those 3 steps to your new or updated routine.

White color changed on a section over time
Everything worked great until some of the lights at the end started having a different temperature of white compared to the rest of the strip. I am past my return period so I guess I am out of luck.

Loving these lights! Strip extends far and is nice and bright!
Looks fantastic to add some glow under my desk and counters. Love the ability to change the settings for the lights. They are very bright and adhered well as well. I like the dimmability and the way they look in the dark and when the room is lit.

Simple and effective way to control LED lights without a physical switch
I installed under cabinet LED strips, RGBW. I also installed backsplash. I didn't want to add a switch in the backsplash - this allowed the control or the lights through Alexa or the app on my phone. We've had it for over a year and so far have only had to reset it once. It was easy to set up and has been reliable.I would definitely recommend this product.

Good customer service - questionable product
UPDATE: Another string has the CCT Cool White changing color - I think these strings are bad.So this could have gone the bad way, but Giderwel came through. I purchased 7 of these strips for projects in a few areas of my home. Under the kitchen cabinets, one of the strips' cool-white suddenly discolored and started looking more warm white. I verified it was not the controller or anything (could not be really since it is a separate LED circuit) and then contacted Giderwel. They had me send a photo and said they would send a replacement. I was not happy because I still had to do the work to replace it, but what was worse was when the replacement came without wire leads and was obviously a used strip. :o So I went back to them furious at that, and to their credit they made it right - refunded me and I bought a new one. There are a LOT of sellers of LED strips out there and many are less-than-reputable businesses, but I am happy that these guys stand behind their product.
