This has been a good, reliable gate opener so far. The gate installation company we used tried to sell us one that cost three times as much, one that was overkill for what was needed. A friend who is very handy and has installed automated gates before helped us pick out this one, and we are so happy he did. Topens customer service is also excellent. We have now also ordered a Topens keypad and sensors.

This is my third gate opener of this style. I decided to go with the namebrand this time. In hopes that it would last longer than the other two. So far so good. Though the plastic neutral lever broke off immediately. And it is too far past my purchase time to return it. Plus, it was already installed.

The instructions were very easy to follow. Set it up in under 3 hours. Great value for what you get.

The product disappointed me. More than half of the heavy-duty racks were bent and deformed, and there was no standard distance between the racks. Finally, you need to modify it yourself

The media could not be loaded. When we bought our home we had a sliding iron gate that was very old. I looked into replacing the entire gate and the quotes were 28k+. That led me to look into automating my current gate. I asked a welding company who they suggest and they had a lot of experience working with Toppens. We had a concrete base poured, electricians hardwire to my home and the welders installed in a day. Works very well and the range on the remotes allows us to open from our home or while driving up to the gate. Fantastic product!

TOPENS has several different gate opener options available. The RK2600T model is one of the more beefier models with a higher weight capacity. This gate opener has a decent motor that seems to do well with opening the gate. It is small in size but gets the job done, if a bit slowly at times. The specs state it moves about 8 inches per second. If you want something that’s going to move quickly, this isn’t for you. If you want something that can move some weight, this is for you.This gate opener is electric only. You have to 110-120V AC outlet to plug it into. Which means, you’ll more than likely have to run power to this motor to operate it.It comes with two remotes. I would have like to receive more remotes and it states that you cannot purchase after market remotes to use with it, so you would need to contact the seller to purchase more.One thing to double check is how much of the steel gear rack you will need, as this comes with 13.8 feet. If you need more then that be sure you can get it before purchasing this system.Overall I would say this is a nice gate opener but may be a little overkill for most home owners. Thankfully TOPENS offers several options so you can find which one is right for you.

I have a 24' sliding gate and I was able to find a very strong and powerful motor for my heavy gate (trust me 24' gate is very heavy)you will be surprised by the torque that little motor performs, don't be decived by the size of the 2600T model.
