I bought this metal rooster as a housewarming gift. It arrived well-packaged with no damage, and I was impressed right away by how solid and detailed it feels. The metal is sturdy (not thin or flimsy like some cheaper yard statues), with a nice weathered/rustic finish that looks intentional rather than just spray-painted. The rooster stands about 18–20 inches tall (good size without being overwhelming), has nice cut-out details in the feathers and tail, and the stake/base is thick enough to push into the ground securely. It stayed upright through a couple of windy days and light rain with no tipping or rust spots so far. My parents put it near their flower bed, and it adds a fun, charming touch — not cartoonish, but still eye-catching. They’ve gotten compliments from neighbors already. It’s clearly built for outdoor use and holds up better than the plastic or resin chickens they had before. They’re thrilled with it, and I’d definitely buy another as a gift (or for my own yard). It looks realistic even considering that it is metal. My mother had a story about a rooster when I was growing up and it reminds me of her. I keep it in my kitchen . For me, it's made good enough to display in my home.

It looks great but a little light weight!

Exactly as described and shown in the listing, however the picture really doesn’t do it justice! The colors of the feathers are quite vibrant! It’s close to the size of a real rooster! The rooster is well made and so far has withstood severe rainstorms and summer heatwaves! I would have expected to pay more for an item of this quality! Arrived quickly and in excellent condition! Highly recommend to all!

I received my Rooster today and I am so pleased with the quality. Compared to others I have, this one is made of heavier metal and I believe less likely to rust. It came very well wrapped and his colours are eye catching! This is important since he will be displayed on the front lawn.
