Great shoe for a baby with a wide foot
When I called the customer service line at See Kai Run, I found out that their shoes are wider than the average brand. I was informed that their regular shoes are about the width of a Stride Rite wide. My son was wearing extra wide at the time, and the very helpful gal told me that the ones with the stitching around the soles, such as these, will have even more space in the shoe. They were perfect because they were wide enough for my son's little wide, flat hobbit feet and he was so cute in them. I have found that I have to pay more for shoes I don't even like just to find ones that fit my son. I was glad to discover See Kai Run because they have some adorably stylish shoes. The only negative to this sandal was they were not very supportive, and my son pronates pretty heavily and could've used a stiffer ankle support.

I ordered size 8 and they look like 9. 5-10
Those are huge!!! I ordered size 8 and they look like 9.5-10. I'd say order one size down.We just move my son to size 7 and I thought those can be his next shoes, but it looks like he will be using those next spring if not summer. The quality seems ok, I was hoping that those will be very similar to Luke model, but they are very different. They do not have an insert, the entire shoe is sewn together, which is probably a good thing since the insert came unglued on the other 2 pairs of SKR that we owned(Ryan, and Luke). Those are a bit more stiff compared to Ryan model. Will update when my son will grow into them.Update: shoes are great, very flexible, comfortable, but the quality is not very good . Look worn out after 2 months. Still worth the price

Perfect
I've been struggling to find minimalist shoes for my toddler since he outgrew Robeez. These are pretty close because they are a zero drop shoe (no elevated heel) they have no toe spring built in, and the soles are pretty thin and flexible. Plus they are cute and stylish. The leather is very soft and my 23-month-old son loves them. I have had no issues with him wearing them and he does not trip over them at all as others have mentioned, even though I ordered a size up for growth. Maybe it's because he's an experienced walker. This is the first pair of shoes that I have not had to fight to get him to wear in a long time. He let me put these on him and has worn them every time since with no argument. They seem very comfortable and have a nice wide toe box. He usually wears wide or extra-wide shoes and these are perfect width. I am very pleased with them. I'll be sad when we outgrow this line. Their Kai shoes are not flexible at all.I can't say how durable they will prove to be, but we've had great luck with SKR shoes in the past so I have high hopes they will last us the summer.Update 9-9-14My son wore these all summer and they got pretty beat up. But he loved them. Never complained once about wearing them. I don't think they run big at all, since he just outgrew them measuring a little over a 7, and ours are 7's. The soft leather is wonderful for comfort but does not hold up to rough play on cement. They were still worth the money, just don't expect them to last more than 4-5 months.

Material quality is fine. Very light and soft
Material quality is fine. Very light and soft. But I don't like the fact that they don't provide any arch support, softer bend point, and detachable inner sole that some other competitors (e.g., stride rite) offer.

High cost to ship
Great shoe and I got these on what I thought was a good deal. However, I was shopping quickly and only now see that I paid $10 in shipping. Making the savings nearly null. Overall a great shoe that my son wore all summer long. I would recommend the product but don't be like me and buy without checking the shipping charge. #loveAmazonPrimefreeshipping

Cute but not durable
Loved the design but the shoes didn't last long. This particular style is not very durable. Trust me, I didn't learn from my mistake and bought a second pair, which was good for only a week.

Made my son run
I like this shoe a lot. My 1 1/2 year old son had fixated on one pair of slipper-shoes, and was unwilling to try anything else. He'd yell even when he saw me coming with a different pair of shoes. I was quite despairing, especially since the pair of shoes he loved was falling apart. I ordered these shoes in hopes that he'd wear them, seeing as they were supposed to be so comfortable. I put them on his feet amid many yells and lots of kicking. Then, I distracted him with a favorite drink so he'd calm down. When he finished drinking, he hopped down and started toddling about, having totally forgotten that I put anything on his feet. We went for a walk. He ran--literally ran--for nearly a quarter mile. I couldn't believe how happy he was in these shoes. I like them a lot. Thanks for making a comfortable shoe for my toddler!

Order the correct size-smaller than their normal shoe.
Loved the shoe but it really was way too big. Shoe sizes for little ones are so hard to estimate over the Internet. But my normal sized 18 month old wears a size six in his other shoes but these were way too big. Width and length wise. The five fit much better and I kept the sixes for when he is bigger.
