This kettle is very beautiful looking. It may look small, but it holds a surprising amount of water. Due to it being cast iron, it retains head very well. Lifting the lid while the water is boiling is almost impossible without a glove and it is very hot. It is hard to tell when the water is completely boiling because there is not "whistle". You have to open it to check, or listen for the water boiling; when it is filled to the brim, the water will bubble out of the spout when it boils. I've been using it everyday for the past few weeks now and I do notice some wear on the finish. The inside is very durable, but the ball knob on the top of the lid is starting to develop rust. I always remember to wipe it down after as cast iron is prone to rusting, however, it is very difficult to wipe down where the knob connects.

I absolutely LOVE my kettle! Not only is the quality amazing but it's easy to clean and it heats up really quickly! I love the tea holder that comes with it because that way if you use loose leaf tea then you don't get any in the pot. The only negative thing that I kind of have about it is that I wish the tea leaf holder was a little longer than it is, especially if you only want one cup of tea.

This is a cute, functional teapot. I like how heavy it is, and the water heats quickly on my electric coil stove. Careful not to overfill the pot or it will spray boiling water from the spout if it reaches a strong boil. I purchased this to stay on my stove full-time since it looks so nice in the picture, but reality does not live up to the advertised product. Paint is of poor quality and is sloppily applied, and the gold accents just end up looking dirty. I will still keep it and use it, I just wish the pot were as pretty as I'd hoped for.

It was purchased as a gift for a sibling. It is enabled on the inside so the cleaning will be easier, though it is still extremely important to never let liquid set or let it air dry. Even with enabled cast iron, it can still rust and would make cleaning and maintaining more difficult. The basket infuser was pretty good quality. All together, it's of a decent quality and it didn't disappoint my sibling.

It’s okay. The problem i have with it is when it boils and heats up it just spits out the spout lol. Thought it would whistle like most kettles but that’s not the case. We have to clean up EVERY time
