Review: Expensive although very good metal polish - ALUMIFIN polish is a soft creamy paste. It does have an odour and recommends a well ventilated environment. The polish itself is very good on metals bringing a bright lustre to stainless steel such as watches etc. One warning though, if you have blushed finishes do not over apply or it will look like it has a polished finish. It’s expensive although it does go along way.

A: It's a good metal polish, but yes, if not buffed off any areas, it does leave a white, chalky resedue.

**Q: Rust on garden chairs.I need to renew garden chairs which have a lot of rust on their joints after being left outside.Will this help cleaning them up?**
A: Yes, this will help to clean them up, apply with fine wire wool and finish polish with a soft.
Very heavy and pitted rust may need cleaning off first with a wire brush.

**Q: Has anyone tried out this on Golf clubs?**
A: Yeah  i have and its very good

A: Alumifin compound uses friable abrasive. This means that as you use the abrasive, it breaks down into smaller and smaller particles. The question of what is grit size, turns out to be surprisingly complicated. First of all, any compound or abrasive has a range (histogram/distribution) of grit sizes. Alumifin grit can range from 3000-6500 at the start of polishing.
