Lords of Mercy: Royals of Forsyth University, Book 3

Complete Letdown
I was looking forward to this book so badly.I loved the first two and couldn’t wait to see what happened. But all of my expectations were completely dashed. After what the boys did in the second book, I needed more groveling. They all just kind of apologized, admitted they were messed up, but that was basically it. They were also very wishy washy with their actions. One day something was fine, the next day it wasn’t.It was also waaaaaaay too long. I guessed who Ted was in the second book. This book should have ended when he was revealed. But it just went on for an annoying amount of pages.I just feel like the authors added an insane amount of mundane information to lengthen the book for no reason.Overall, I was bored and underwhelmed. I pretty much skimmed the last 100 pages and know I didn’t miss anything.

nailed it. chef’s kiss.
It’s not often that you’re drawn in on an author note alone. But let me tell you, I got jittery, I got butterflies, I got ANXIOUS, when I read the note by Angel and Sam.I’ve been impatient. I’ve reread. I’ve listened (LoP is so good on audio). I’ve done everything but get on my knees and beg the authors. But it’s finally, FINALLY here and this is one of the best conclusions to a series I’ve ever read.•My stepbrother is pacing outside my locked door, as he is every night, hoping, wishing, preying. - Lords of Mercy, Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue•I’d love to walk you through the entire book. I’d love to just spell it all out here. I really would. But I won’t. I won’t ruin your experience of reading this book on your own.Just know that you’re in for a wild one.Story is stronger. Her Lords are exactly what we’ve come to love, but better. This book will have your dark heart grow 3 sizes.100% recommend.

Absolutely blown away...perfect ending for them.
Wow, completely blown away by the words on the pages. I’ve both despised and loved Rath, Killian and Tristan sometimes simultaneously. I feel as though I just stepped off the ride of my life. It was scary and exhilarating, so much so I want to do it all over again.Completely blindsided by Ted, never in a million years did I guess that person. They weren’t even on my radar, which made it even better.I’m so proud of the person Story and her guys grew into, she got her storybook ending. It wasn’t an easy path getting to that point, but she held her head high and went for what she wanted, regardless of what stood in her way. Dealing with those ‘boys’ as well as the other houses and Southside drama, she never backed down from a challenge. My favorite part is how Angel and Samantha ended their story. It wasn’t rushed, I feel I got the closure I wanted and know how their story ended. Truly amazing talent.

So amazingly good!
This story covers the evolution of Story, Killian, Dimitri, and Tristian's shared relationship and growth of character. It also answers the question of Who is Ted?One of my favorite books this year, I loved Story and her visible shift to confidence with bursts of feistiness. Equally, I enjoyed reading the guys' change to considerate, protective, and even self-sacrificing. Along that path was their electric chemistry. This book is one of the steamiest reverse harems I have ever read -- individual, group, location, and everything in between. Even with the spice and paramount to all was that they were family with Killian and Story's tongue-in-cheek calling each other little sister and big brother. There was more expansion of this world with side characters. Mrs. Crane was a force to be reckoned with -- hilarious! This book had amazing depth from seriousness to humor and complexity of plot. Medium-burn pace that was always alluring, the story wasn't one I read, but one I experienced like visual osmosis. The scenes simply played in my mind. And when the big mystery unfolded to its great reveal, I realized the talent in all the little clues left that I did not pick up on. What an aha.Amazing characters, amazing story with a flair for spice and ultimately romance. This tale will remain one of my most adored.

Sensory overload
Interesting sensory overload. There was so much sex, I half listened at times. I was sucked in on book one and wanted to know who Ted was. I didn't suspect who it was until the beginning of this book. There was a lot of hot sex and some things I personally found a bit much. This author has a very lot to say!It was extremely long took 2 full days on Alexa. I love how she finalized the story in vivid detail. It was so thorough I wasn't left wanting more, I actually was quite tired of these people. By what I thought was the end, but it kept going. I was only half listening through much of this book and read it months after the 1st two. This is a great writer. I don't particularly like reverse hereims but my excapism runs deep! However, props to the author. The characters felt so real, you can tell she really enjoyed writing their story.I can't give it 5 stars, though it was excellently written and the story was phenomenally creative it just is still weird to me. This one girl with 3 to 5 guy scenerio for life, weakens the males for me. I also find it quite irritating. These men giving up so much actually saddens me. The end showed them over a year later then SPOILER ALERT,Follows: 9 Momths thereafter. All I felt was sad for the men and the new little girl. A girl smh. It doesn't fell right. Give me a peek into that life at all the stages. You can be a family without screwing and being committed to same woman exclusively for life with two others. Just seems very messy.I would have preferred she just got with Killian exclusively and they remained swingers or something. With Raf's & Tristan's women.Plus what is this with these hereims where everyone wants everyone in their business. They want it out in opened for strangers and random people. Closed door consenting adults... Your business! Period! I find this irritating on the few I have read. Just introduced to this genre this year and this is my third read. Credence was my 1st if you can call it a reverse hereim as she did and up with one man at the end.

what an ending
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Oh Story, Killian, Tristian and Dimitri how you have left such an impact on me! This series absolutely pushed my boundaries with what I was comfortable with but I loved every single second of it. For characters to make me feel so many emotions and feelings was honestly not something I was expecting, I was fully engrossed in the Lords world. This book especially brought something extra compared to the other two as Story and her guys finally got their connection growing stronger— it had the best sarcastic and dry humour, I found myself laughing a lot at the jabs thrown at one another! After so much darkness and fight (which don’t worry is definitely still present) this was so refreshing and made me smile.I was not expecting Ted to be who it was, that blind sided me completely! I absolutely love how possessive Story is also of her guys as they are of her. The epilogues!? Ah they were everything, it was so lush to see their reactions real time and to go through that journey with them of taking this next step.I’m so intrigued by all the other Royals and am so looking forward to the Dukes story next, I’m so happy the authors are writing these stories also as I’m definitely not read to leave this world!

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

Devastated its finished
I have to say from the first book in this series I was hooked at the same time as thinking God this is a little too much with the whole brother issue and his friends? But once I got hooked onto the story and by this last book I have to say Story for me really became her own women and I did not want this to end. This is a great RH book with a scared yet strong young girl eventually finding her own feet and becoming a force to be reckoned with, whilst tackling 3 sexy yet evil as hell young men along the way. Story's different relationships with each guy kept me hooked and her obsessed love / hate relationship with Killer was too much but also not enough! The last book had major twists and turns but the ending was for me perfect I'm truly gutted its come to an end for these 4.

Been waiting for this book for what feels like forever and I loved it. I don’t think I loved it more than the others which I feel like is what you want for a finale but it was still good.I liked how early the story ended and we skipped a few years in front and this book had so much humour I actually laughed out loud at points. My favourite thing about this book is the progression of the characters, especially Killian. It was well paced and took time for the characters to become likeable something that is often rushed in other books.

Incredible
What an incredible end to an incredible series. Didn’t see the twist coming, very clever. Loved the extra HEA chapters, I’m so sad to let go of these characters that I really needed the drawn out finish. Loved the growth of the characters over the series, it’s one of my favourite series ever. The heat is wow, and the build of interest in the start of the Dukes for book 4 (that tease chapter had me pre-ordering immediately) is fab.
