Lots of comments recommend Lavender lid over Green lid. I only see green lid. Can anyone help me with this ?

The purple/lavender lid is on the "standardized" version. "St. John's Wort extract is standardized to 0.3% dianthrones measured as hypericin. This product provides the clinically researched dose for promoting a positive mood." It contains the stated percentage of hypericin, as opposed to the green cap which is the powdered plant (stem, leaf and flowers). If it's the hypericin that gives the benefit then it's beneficial to use the standardized version, but if it's a combination of other micronutrients found in the plant, then the green bottle is preferable. YMMV.

What size are these pills? Small or big?

They are regular size capsules . A little bigger than ibuprofen caplets.

I have trouble swallowing capsules, is it okay to bite them instead?

The capsules were not a problem for me when I swallowed them. I would not bite them. Use water.
