Not sturdy
Had trouble with it from the first hole I tried to make. It kept bending out of shape and I kept trying to band it back into place and use it. I managed to plant several bulbs but it gave out before I had them all planted. Do yourself a favor and look for a sturdy one.

Only purchase if you have good ground!
I purchased this on June 29, 2020, since I ordered my fall bulbs at that time. My fall bulbs arrived on September 24th and I told my husband he did not need to do anything as I had my new bulb planter. Boy was I wrong. The dirt where I live is extremely hard. It was impossible to use this bulb planter so I am stuck with it as my return date was July 29. This would be great if you had good dirt but not if you have hard ground like me.☹️

Piece of junk
This bulb planter buckled on the first planting, causing the plastic handle to splinter and pinch my fingers drawing blood and bruising me. The metal is light weight and the plastic even lighter. I used it in well-worked soft soil and it couldn't withstand the pushing pressure under ideal conditions. Couldn't even be considered a sandbox toy.

Light Duty only
This is suitable for planter mix or sandy soil but not for clay or denser garden soil. Metal frame collapsed.

Too flimsy for use.
This thing broke after first use. I did get 20 bulbs into the ground before it bent and i for another 20 in the ground by bending it back with pliers every few holes. In balance, a good idea but cheap flimsy material.
