The Psycho: The Soldiers of Anarchy, Book 1

This is a great book! It's part of a connected series and this is the first one. It's really a love story that has a bit of a naughty slow burn vibe. Psycho or Adam is part of a gang that doesn't take any crap and deals with those in society that the law doesn't take care of. Now, don't think these guys don't get their hands filthy dirty because they do and they enjoy torturing and killing these criminals that have done unforgivable things. However, Adam finds the love of his life and Olivia is definitely no shrinking violet! It starts off with texting and Olivia is rather enjoying her stalker, btw she knows its Adam lol! Olivia is a loyal friend and has never backed down in any situation to protect those who she holds dear. She's a woman who really has two sides to her and Adam and her are meant for each other.. This is so well written and the character build up is fantastic! I really got to know both of them and their friends. Nikki doesn't write books that are easy reads. She writes books that are darker and that's why I really loved this book. With a lot going on the focus remains on Adam and Olivia and their struggles to find each other and fall in love. Olivia is the one not to trust easily but Adam can be very persuasive and never gives up. I can't wait to read the other books and hope the whole gang will have a book about them! If you love a twisted ride, very hot sex, and the loveable anti- hero who gives all his love to the only woman who can tame him then you're in for a treat!

This book is really good. It has a great story line. Its a very raw feeling book, it shows the characters and how they really feel. It shows raw emotions especially from adam the psycho because it is kinda shut off from his emotions.

This is my first book from this author. I was pleased. I thought the beginning was a little repetitive and definitely a slow slow burn. The love story was really nice. Loved that fact that he was they psycho bad boy but extremely soft for his girl. He expressed his feelings really well. Loved that very much.

The Psycho by Nikki J Summers is the first book in her new The Soldiers of Anarchy series. This book is told in dual POV and readers beware this is a dark romance, if blood and violence aren’t your jam this may be a bit much for you.I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. As of late I have realized that I prefer the darker, gritty romance novels compared to the sweeter ones I read a few years ago. When you dive into the dark, sometimes the ‘romance’ in a dark romance fizzles. Not in this case. Yes Adam is stalking Olivia, but for him to be so protective was actually very sweet. This isn’t a bully romance like I expected it to be. For a morally gray anti hero - Adam is a good man. Olivia isn’t the typical spoiled princess or the victim pulling herself from the gutter like we can sometimes see in this trope. She’s relatively well adjusted with a good heart and attitude that would bring most men to their knees. I would have liked more backstory from Olivia, I did find that a bit lacking, but that could be because I haven’t read Nikki’s ‘Rebels of Sandland”, and I know that she was a secondary character in that series. That being said, I loved the chemistry and connection between Olivia and Adam. They are like Yin and Yang - Olivia isn’t as sweet as she appears, and Adam isn’t as dark as he likes others to assume. These two complete each other and bring out the best in each other. They are refreshing and relatable. I loved watching them together. Is The Psycho as dark as I thought it would be?…No. Am I mad about it?… Again, no. I think it has the right amount of edge and violence for it to be a dark romance, with just enough true romance to make this an enjoyable read. The world building is great, I’m excited to see what’s in store for the other soldiers, I think this book gives us a lot of information to prepare us for the next books in the series. I feel the plot flowed well, the steamy scenes were hot without being over the top, and enough suspense to keep me engaged. If you are looking to dip your toes into the dark romance world but you don’t want to be scarred for life, I think The Psycho is the perfect book to get you started. Can’t wait to see what Nikki has for us next!

Slow burn quick read that will have you wanting to know more about the other Soldiers of Anarchy men. Slow to start, but Adam soon makes you believe the depths of his feelings for Liv though his touch her and d$e bad boy attitude. I loved this book. It’s nice and easy to read and pulls you in straight away. If you like a bit of a bad boy then this book is for you 🙂

This book was so good, an absolute must read. It was dark and dirty and everything you want in a romance like this.Liv and Adam were absolutely made for each other. I loved Livs character and the fact that she didn't feel the need to conform! And she definitely gave as good as she got with AdamI love a book where a strong female character comes along and brings the cocky stone hearted gang leader to their knees, and thats exactly what Liv did to Adam.I can't wait to jump into the next book in the series

Insanely good!! That book was hardcore! Every element was well thought out and the characters detailed storyline’s were extreme! Couldn’t put it down!

Probably one of the best books I've read. It is so well written you feel like you truly know the characters. I love the romance aspect of this too, it's like a slow burn but more tense. How doesnt want someone to protect you and love you completely. I can wait to read about the other soldiers.
