I bought a giant jawbreaker thinking it would be a fun little nostalgic treat. What I actually purchased was a part-time job. This thing is roughly the size of a bowling ball and apparently designed by dentists looking for revenge. The flavor journey was impressive though. First it tasted like cherry, then watermelon, then regret. By hour three I had emotionally bonded with the candy and started referring to it as “The Orb.”I made the mistake of leaving it on the kitchen counter and now guests think I’m displaying some rare museum artifact. One friend asked if it was a decorative planet. Another asked if it was dangerous. Eating it requires commitment, upper body strength, and a retirement plan. Somewhere around layer 47 I started reflecting on my life choices and wondering if the jawbreaker would outlive me. Flavor OK. Have to smash it with a hammer to get it small enough to eat. Pretty expensive for what it is, but they do take a long time to make.

Gum center was not even enough to make a bubble. Jaw breaker flavors were tasty and it lasted for a while.
