Works on region B/2 players! Great anime and is set in chronological order so it’s easy for any newcommers

Having paid through the nose for this thanks to an extra charge from Customs and the Post Office I should be knocking stars off, but in truth the product is perfect! The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is a wonderful, funny, sometimes a tad risqué and entertaining anime about the troubles of dealing with a god; one who must never discover her power or else! She wanted an interesting world with aliens, espers and people from the future and she got her wish. She also wanted a foil and a boy with the nickname Kyon took her interest and they started the SOS Brigade, Haruhi thought “club” didn’t have a powerful enough image! Haruhi does what she wants, literally at times and the other three members with Kyon’s help humour her wishes and try to prevent worldwide calamity! “The Endless Eight” Eight seemingly repeated episodes as Haruhi forces the world to repeat the end of the summer break over 15000 times and we get eight nearly identical repeats of the same episode! First streamed online I could not figure out what was happening but on this BD I was intrigue by the small nuances present in each loop and especially the visual changes and new filming angles. I actually enjoyed the challenge of these episodes and ended up feeling so sorry for Nagato Yuki! It ended too soon but left its mark. At least there is a movie too! This worked on my cheap Blue ray player as did the DVD whereas my other region one’s do not, so great comfort from my wallet stinging purchase! Damn it was still worth it to see the complete Hurhi Suzumiya!

Haruhi fan since Haruhi-knows when. Since getting this on Blu-Ray, my life has somehow gotten better. I wake up with a smile on my face thinking about what amazing things may come today. I don’t know how this started happening, but I’m not complaining. In fact, I’ve never been happier. Thank you, Haruhi. For everything.

This is going to be a review of the case and extra content because I assume that, if you are thinking about buying this show, you've already seen it and have decided you liked it enough to purchase the physical copy. The Blu-ray discs work on UK players without any issue The case holds both seasons, which consists of 28 episodes as well as 2 bonus discs in a normal size Blu-ray case. If you're into the behind the scene with anime than this is a must buy because it has hours of extra features including the making of Haruhi. Overall I can't recommend this purchase enough if you like the series.

This blu ray is filled with very fun extras and all the episodes look great. As mentioned above, I wasn't sure if this would work on my region B (uk) blu ray optical drive in my pc, and it works without issues. I checked on the Bluray.com website before hand to check and they also said it worked on region B players. If you were worried about that before buying this item, you don't need to worry anymore.

I can confirm that this works perfectly well in region B (UK) blu-ray players. Highly recommend!

Fun Mysterious Weird Slice of Life

Pienso que esta es un artículo más bien para fanáticos, la resolución de imagen no es muy diferente a las de streming, pero siempre es bueno tenerla en físico. Ojo, no trae sub en español, solo en inglés.

Haruhi Suzumiya is an amazing Anime with a protagonist who definitely belongs on the villains wiki, i love this anime but sadly this isn’t going to work on Australian dvd plays/playstations/xbox’s so if your in Australia, make sure you have a dvd player that isn’t region locked

画質が綺麗です、音も良好 ただ日本語にすると、字幕が消せないんですが 宇宙人、超能力者、タイムトラベラーには問題ないッス‼️ それは冗談でファンなら気にならないです(笑)🙋日本版のは高くて抵抗がある人には最適だと思いました

Eu fiz questão de comprar o blueray, pois além de caracterizar muito o estilo de produção da ''KyotoAnimation'', o anime também marca uma época muito importante da minha vida. Uma obra prima, que toca em pontos fundamentais da ficção, uma produção difícil de não se apaixonar. Lembrando que não vem junto com o filme, se estiver interessado, terá que comprar separadamente.

Staffel 1 noch halbwegs unterhaltsam. Staffel 2 besteht zu mehr aus der Hälfte aus einer Zeitschleife, in der sich eine Folge achtmal (!) wiederholt. Trotz Vorspringen haben mich am Ende dieser Tortur die Figuren so angekotzt, dass ich keine Lust mehr hatte weiterzusehen. Wenn man dann noch den Preis betrachtet, bleiben nicht mehr viele Gründe übrig, sich die Serie zu kaufen.
