However in all fairness I have 30 years of experience working with embroidery machines and digitizing software, running my own business! So my endorsement comes with 100hrs, actually more like 1000hrs, working with 4 single headed/9 needle brother machine's ever day. So I’m a little bias when I suggest to you. Buy this machine. Review: Easy to Use - loving this machine. im used to a Brother flat bed machine, so there was a learning curve on how to hoop things. I found that the Mighty Hoops work best and are super easy, so ordered those to go with it and that was a game changer! Being able to embroider on shirts, totes, sleeves, pants is so great. since is is made by Brother the interface is very familiar so that was easy to use. the most important thing is getting used to making sure the shirt is under the tube or you will embroider it closed! I put a post it note on my machine to remind me to check that the shirt is below the tube. Changing thread is super easy by tying the new to the old and pulling it through. This machine is a breeze to use and does nice embroidery. There is a newer version and this one is being discontinued to buy it now if you want it. Compared to the new more expensive version, the only difference is that it can use a larger hoop and has monograms, so if you don't care about that, save 2K and get this machine while you still can. it's the same in every other way compared to new version.
