TianTac Tungsten Carbide Rotary Burr Set 10pcs, Carving Burr Bits, with 3mm Shank 6mm Bit for Wood & Stone Carving, Steel Metal Working

Purchased to use in my wood carving projects. I have also used on a couple metal fabrication projects. I was surprised at how well they worked and held up, using on steel. The set is still working well and performing as I need them too. For the price these are a good value and I will be purchasing another set. Maybe this time dedicate them to wood only.

Great product. I would buy again if I had the need. Do not look any further if you think this is the right fit.

Worked well enough for what I needed. Not sure how these compare to higher end as I have never owned high end burrs but they did the job with minimal wear to the burr.

I had meant to use these for carving materials on my CNC-3018 cheap CNC machine, but I still have that in its box (a year and more after buying it, augh!), and have mostly used these with my drill or a dremel (with a larger chuck/whatever it's called) tool to clean spots of rust off of the old car I'm rebuilding over this past two years(or whatever it has been)!They have been used to pare off light depths of rust, or to trim off sharp edges from clean steel, even (though likely a bad idea) have been used a few times to chop up or trim away the edge of a piece of glass on occasion, and I sometimes use these to destroy rusted-together nuts and bolts on occasion. They have done a terrifying job of ripping up the steel in my car, and I have to use these bits VERY carefully so they doesn't get a chance to skip out and rip a gouge across the un-rusted areas or whatever too!Despite the many uses I have put them to so far, even almost scarily-quickly cutting through the THICK, sealed-tight-with-rust but still solidly-metal-inside exhaust system bolts that I just could NOT get free with penetrating oil, heat, and big long wrenches. THESE were able to rip apart the bolt in its middle where I could get at it in between the spring's loops. I would have preferred to keep the old parts, but they just REFUSED to come out...so I 'solved that' with these burrs. : D I used the pointy-one to carve a light line, then used a bigger-burr to carve out the main channel...it took nearly no time, but do mind that (as I discovered and should have realized before I DID this) these bits toss shredded steel all over the place if you don't have grinding shields or debris guards or whatever to keep it contained. I was under the car on my back to do this...thankfully with safety goggles on, at least!...and ripped that one bolt in half, then chowed the loose surface rust off the remaining pipe faces, and THEN I realized that I was covered in sharp, sharp metal flinders and shreds!I actually addressed that "I was shiny now!" issue mostly by using neodymium magnets all over myself (clothing, hair and skin, EVERYWHERE), shaking my hair out again to be sure, then taking a THOROUGH shower and being extra-careful during my 'rinsing off' phase. Don't be me...these bits rip exhaust-system bolts into TONS of tiny, sharp little shreds of steel! If I hadn't had safety goggles...well, I'd have been dumb, and also likely blind, or at least I would probably have been off to the hospital. Metal shavings went EVERYWHERE! It was glorious to see after my hours and hours of fighting with it politely...when I gave up on polite methods, "BWAHAHAAAAA!" was fun to use as my eventual solution.Did I mention how much I love these bits? :) They rip things up, just like they should. They also don't (at least obviously) show damage despite my non-professional and random uses of these bits so far! They have mostly served on my '96 Honda Civic's frame steel and motor metals, with forays into trimming off stainless steel and 'basic steel' and even wood and plastic when I asked them to! They can jam with plastic if it melts...it isn't the end of the world, but you do need to get it off to use it on other materials after turning it into a plastic-lollipop, so try to not do that either.I hope that I don't break or dull one any time soon, but even if I do I've gotten my money's worth out of these things already. When I need a thing DESTROYED, these do the job, no matter what material it is so far!Yes, maybe this review is slightly-hammy, but it's not because I'm getting paid for it or anything...these bits have just 'done the job that I needed them to do' well enough that I decided I would VERY review them if I was going to review them at all. Some day, I will try them out in that 3018...hopefully my update will involve more cackling about these bits shredding stuff in my CNC too. I bet they will...I'll eventually find out!

Bought these to remove a broken lug stud on my vehicle , these chewed through that stud in mere minutes , if you have a high quality dremel or impact these bits are what you want . Cut through metal fast.
