The jacks are tight when plugged in, and cable is flexible and durable. There is no signal "crackle" when I rotate the plugs in the jack. I cannot "jiggle" them because they fit so well. The braided insulation is retro, but also quite easy to wind and unwind: I like it. The solder connections are smooth and shiny and there is shrink wrap completely covering all the joints. There is a handy rubber grip in the middle of each plug and it really does entice you to properly unplug this cable. The sound is the same as my previous, much more expensive cables.
