Excellent Quality Sea Moss – Made a Large Batch of Gel! As a chef, I was able to work with this sea moss without any issues, but I do wish the package included basic preparation instructions for first-time users. Fortunately, I knew how to clean, soak, and blend it into gel. The quality was excellent, with very little debris and a fresh, clean appearance. After soaking and preparing it, I was able to make a large batch of sea moss gel that filled multiple jars. One package produced enough gel to last me approximately three months for my daily mushroom coffee routine. The gel blended smoothly and had a great consistency. The value for the price is outstanding considering how much finished product you get from a single bag. Some said it smelled of the sea, as it naturally should. I found the same. The package does plainly carry the word "organic," contrary to what one reported. There were 10 grams of salt at the bottom of the bag for a total of eleven after shaking the moss in a large glass bowel. I rinsed a small amount in a mason jar twice, shaking vigorously to remove the remaining salt. Then I soaked it in distilled water for 36 hours. I tasted the water. Salt taste? very slightly discernable. Blending in my strong blender produced a smooth, creamy consistency. Flavor is bland, no taste. I put the contents into silicon ice trays and the freezer, keeping a small amount ready in the refrigerator. Next time, I may add fruit juice concentrate.

I highly recommend, it’s really such great a quality of seamoss,I have purchased seamoss from others before, but they were nothing like the seamoss from this brand,the seamoss is really what you call “straight from the source” because the consistency and smell of the ocean that comes from it, speaks quality. May the owners don’t stop serving quality to its customers.

I enjoy this sea moss when I cannot get with my local person. It is a good quality and it blends very well. My children love to eat it raw. It had a lot of salt in it, expands nicely and blends well. I’ve ordered this several times over the span of a year and some change. Works nicely and tastes good. I place them in my baked goods and smoothies to increase the nutrients, it’s very easy to use and follow. It’s a decent size for the price.

This really works with the nutrients. A hint of caution. I am not a doctor nor do I have anything medical in my background. Just do your homework. Sea Moss has the nutrients, of which iodine is one. It will affect your thyroid gland. I didn’t realize this and began taking the 2 tablespoons daily. I began getting so sleepy every afternoon and then it was moving up earlier in the day with the sleepiness. I had an annual checkup and thought it was something else happening. They ran tests and didn’t fine the UTI that I thought was the issue. I came home and began looking further into the recent addition of sea moss and kept going to find Dr. Sebi’s website. Good information. A must read before adding this into your health plan.

This is the weirdest sea moss I have ever seen, felt, or tasted. I don't know what is going on with it. First of all, the color threw me off, but the type on the package seemed to differentiate it. I thought, "ok". Then when I put it in water, it almost instantly expanded. I usually soak overnight. I still did. A big difference I noticed was there was no salt in the package. That is weird!! After I soaked it all night, it became mushy. I usually use different water, because the water is usually very salty. Nope. Usually, I put it in the food processer before the blender. It was so soft and the water was so slimy, that I just emptied some of the water and blended it. It became smooth VERY quickly. Usually it sets into a gel after sitting in the refrigerator. Nope. The consistency did not change. I am actually scared to use it. I tried it once so far.

I HAD TO CLEAN A FEW TIMES WITH SPRING WATER WELL BUT IT BLENDED OK TASTE OK NOT TO FISHY SIZE WAS DECENT QUANTIY WILL LAST LONG I ONLY USE IN MY SMOOTHIES IN THE MORNING I FEEL ALOT BETTER CONSISTENCY NOT HARD TO BLEND AND SIZE INCREASE AFTER SOAKING OVER 24 HOURS MOST OF THE TIME I NEVER SOAK FOR SHORT TIME BECAUSE IT DOES INCREASE IN SIZE AS IT SOAKS THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO SELL THIS

First time buying and making seamoss gel! I got the largest bag of the blonde seamoss. I thought it would be difficult but it was so easy! The seamoss came in a beautiful package with lots in it. I pulled out just a handful, rinsed under filtered water, (I didn’t see or feel any sand or debris whatsoever which made me wonder if it is from the ocean or a pool) but it looks real when I look at the real vs fake pictures on Google. Anyways, filled the bowl with more fresh filtered water and let it soak on the counter for 57 hours (like 2.5 days, meant to do 36 hours but I miscalculated the time oops) I changed the water once half way through the soak time. To prepare it I rinsed and drained it then added it to the blender (vitamix) and added spring water (filled the water til it was up to the halfway mark of the seamoss. Blended til creamy , took like 30 seconds. And filled my jar. It turned out so smooth and creamy like a perfect custard. The texture thickens more into gelatine in the fridge after. But soft still and easily scoopable. I realized I wouldn’t be able to consume all of that gel in time so I separated it into smaller jars after and kept one in the fridge while the others I stored in the freezer. They’re freeze rock solid so don’t freeze in large containers because it’ll be so difficult to use after. They thaw nicely in the fridge when you take them out of the freezer but need a day or two to fully thaw out in there and then easily scoopable again! I’ve been adding 1-2 tbsp daily to my smoothies or banana nicecream. It has ZERO FLAVOUR. So you could just eat it as a healthy supplement but the texture would be nasty as it’s like gelatin. Anyways I love this seamoss and will be buying again when I finish the bag (I imagine it will last a long time though as you only need a little to make lots!) I’ll try the rainbow or purple next time!

Fantastic stuff. I made lots of gel and used some for a hot soak in the bathtub. great for dry skin. Also on my hair and as a facial. Works beautifully. Kills bacteria as in smelling feet too.
