Nowhere did I find anything about lead inside this device, except on Reddit and it was as I stated underneath a sticker on the bottom of the carafe. **Q: Is this press one piece of solid stainless or does it have seams? I've read about stainless presses that leak through seams.** A: This is a seamless piece of stainless. If you pre-heat, it will keep the liquid hot for longer than anything I've ever owned.
