Hi there, do u also sell a lock to fit this handle?

Good Morning, Unfortunately we only sell the Handles.  The Lock you need to suit these would have to have a 92mm Centre (PZ) and have a hole under the Spindle Hole for the screw to pass through.  Thanks

What size replacement spring cassette would I need to get? The handle has gone floppy after 6 months use.

I would check the manufacturer's  web site to see if you can buy spare springs to match. It never used to be a case of "one size fits all" when I was in the industry.

Question 3

How thick are these handles, I can't find that in the write up & I need to know for the lock length.

If you mean how thick a door section will they fit, the average pvc door is 70 mm and these will fit, you may need to cut the spindle or screws for thinner doors, which is not for the faint hearted, you can see a comprehensive answer I gave on a previous, similar question about fitting them to wooden doors which are decidedly thinner than pvc.

The dimensions seem correct, but would this fit a wood front door of 42mm thickness?

They should do. The average pvc door is around 70mm, but you would need to cut down the spindle and screws. The spindle is easy enough if you have a strong vice, bolted to a work bench so you can cut it reasonable square, but it is hardened steel so not easy to cut unless you have the correct hacksaw blade.
The screws are a different matter, vital you cut them square and a clean cut as any burs or deviation from square will result in "cross threaded" screws which will jamb or strip the thread; better to work out the length you need and try to source them from Amazon or a diy centre. If you strip the thread with in the handle it will be ruined.

If you have any doubts on being able to cut square on the screws or sourcing new ones, you might be better buying handles for wooden doors, remember these ones are designed for multi lock point doors not a general tonged type latch you get with a standard yale lock.

Good luck in your your decision. I used to work in the window and door industry, personally I would buy a standard yale lock with the barrel type lock and key or 5 lever mortice lock with handles to suit. might cost a bit more but far easier to fit, but you have to cut out the slot for the mortice lock, swings and round abouts, pros and cons to both, but the latter would be my choice. Ultimately it depends on your skills with the tools.
