I bought these zip shallow drop bars to switch my mountain bike over to more gravel riding. It’s perfect for that purpose. The 6061 aluminum gives you a nice smooth ride on Gravel roads and rolling trails. It’s a little rough on steep rocky down hills but so much faster in every other situation the trade-off is well worth it to me. The oval portion of the top feels really good on the hands. At $56 this is quite a value and every bit as good as Richie bars.

Absolutely love this drop bar on my road bike. Asked my mechanic about the carbon version of the same bar, and he said the only difference between alloy and carbon is that the carbon bar make your wallet $200 lighter... and that's about it. So when I upgraded my trainer bike, I bought the same alloy bar again. Love it!

I had to return mine due to not being what I was looking for in terms of drop, but these are great quality and set up for comfort.

Upgraded from the stock Hover bars on a 2022 Specialized Diverge. Slightly more drop at the hood position, similar reach. Overall more comfortable & aero feel when riding on the hoods. More room near the stem for mounting things. The flair/outward sweep on the drops is a little odd, but I don’t use that position much, so it was easily worth the trade off to get a more ‘traditional’ hood position/angle. Zero regrets on the purchase.
