Five-star review, but let me get some of the downsides out of the way for those who might consider these downsides: 1) They are mesh gym shorts. Because of that, they do have a little bit of a see-through effect. So don't be surprised if you buy the white ones and you go out wearing them and people can tell what color underwear you're wearing. (Protip: Wear underwear.) 2) I've bought these in multiple colors. They are all true-to-size, excepting that the default "athletic gray" one seems to fit a little more snugly. (It also doesn't have the little split on the side of the leg, which makes me wonder if I was delivered the wrong thing on that particular purchase; who knows?) So caveat emptor on the athletic-gray color. But the rest fit great. 3) A couple of the colors on these may not look exactly like they do on your computer or phone screen, but for my taste they are even better. The Swiss Blue looks like a nice cheery blue without looking faded. The Team Gold looks like a rich golden color without being either faded or bright as a disco ball. That said: These are great. They are comfy. They are great for working out. They are great for lazing around eating potato chips on the couch. And they are great for doing Zoom calls so you can go casual out of sight while you're wearing a shirt and tie up top. I'm the kind of guy who, when I'm at home, likes to wear clothes that I don't have to think about and say to myself, "Oh, yeah, I'm wearing clothes." These pretty much hit the mark on that. These are now long-term fixtures of my stay-at-home wardrobe. FYI: The inseam on these goes just past my knees. For care: Just make sure you don't put these in the dryer too long or too hot. Consider putting them in the dryer on low, and then if they're still a little damp, hanging them to air dry the rest of the way.

When looking for athletic shorts I have three basic requirements: 1- they must be lightweight, 2- they must have pockets, and 3- they must settle near my knees. These shorts meet all of them perfectly! Here are the highlights: LIGHTWEIGHT: I primarily use these shorts for running, so a lightweight fabric is a must. This has become especially important to me since, what with COVID19-related-closures, I can't go to my gym anymore and need to run outside in the summer heat. These shorts ended up being just what I needed. They're comprised of two mesh layers placed on top of each other and are incredibly breathable. POCKETS: I also sometimes use my exercise shorts as pajama bottoms or to just lounge around the house, so having pockets is also a must! The pockets in these pants are deep and well-padded, with more than enough space to hold my phone, headphones, wallet, and/or anything else I need. KNEE-LENGTH: While I love running, I've never gotten used to "runners' shorts" that come up too far above my knees. I was a little worried that these shorts would be long enough for me (I'm 6'3"), but they ended up being the perfect length! They reach my knees perfectly (see picture) and look/feel comfortable whether I'm standing up or sitting down. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with these shorts and will purchase more when I need them. Enjoy!

These are comfortable, breathable gym shorts. They are perfect for running, cycling, and lounging around the house. I live in a hot and humid environment, and these keep me cooler than other gym shorts I own. The pockets are nice for an Ipod or keys and the length is perfect (just above the knees for me). The one fault to these shorts is the elasticity and waistband. My basketball shorts (including the pricey Jordans) have excellent elasticity that keeps for several years. The elasticity in these shorts is terrible. I put a "permanent" knot in the waistband to keep these tight around my waist while running. I have to suck it my stomach and bring my legs together as I put these on first thing, but they stay put during runs. Kind of an irritation when I need to use the restroom during a run, since I don't want to loosen the waistband and put additional wear on an already poorly designed waistband. All in all, I like these, given their limitations. And for $15, I'm happy with the three pairs I own. They keep my runs pleasurable.

Nice workout shorts with a continuous draw string that does not get pulled into the waist band.

In my opinion, they fit as i expected. I typically vary between 34 and 36 size pants, so I am used to pants being tight or baggy just depending on the manufacturer. I have some ham sized thighs, so typically mediums are too tight for them to handle. I went with large in these, they are slightly baggy on me. The shorts are shorter than many athletic alternatives now-a-days, but still ride down to the knee. The shorts are moderately transparent. There is a double layered build, but both of which are fairly thin. If you are rocking bubble-gum pink underwear, the world may be able to spot that. The main issue I had with these shorts was the fact that the drawstring snapped after only 2 uses. Due to the waist and length being a little big for my "Marge" "large-medium" sizing build, the drawstring was completely necessary for me to keep these shorts on while working out. I went to put these on for the third time and the string popped. These shorts are now useful only for lounging. Pretty disappointing for this to happen while being so new. I only paid around 10 dollars for these, so it isn't a huge bummer. Just be prepared, these are not some high-dollar quality shorts. If you want shorts to pound some iron for many months, these might not be for you. If you just want to strut around Wal-Mart comfortably, or sit around playing your hearthstone and trolling on internet forums: save some money and go for it.
