I use this for first time powering up of equipment (such as fpv drone) just in case I've wired something wrong or have a short. No one wants to see smoke coming out of their circuits, and these prevent that from happening.

I bought this before powering up my FPV drone after a major crash repair, and I’m really glad I did. I had to completely dismantle my iFlight Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 O4 Pro to replace a broken arm, a motor, an LED strip, and solder all the wires back together. It was my first time doing this kind of repair, so I was definitely nervous about plugging in a battery for the first time. The unit is simple to use, feels well made, and gives a lot of peace of mind when working on drones. Even though I hope I never actually need it to trip, it’s one of those tools that makes a stressful first power-up much less stressful. For anyone who builds, repairs, or modifies FPV drones, it’s a useful piece of kit to keep in the toolbox.

Works as directed, takes away that first boot up, or hard crash anxiety, because you can never put the smoke back where it came from after it made that wonderful sound. Great product, great price, great quality.
