Sleeves Do Not Conform To Shirt Size
The size shirt ordered is correct however the sleeves of the shirt were too wide & huge which did not conform to the size of the shirt. I bought eight of these shirts and now all 8 shirts have to be adjusted by a tailor at additional costs. I could not return the shirts as they were already presented as gifts to persons in another country. This is the third time in as many years that this has happened to me.

Good Fit
I like the fitted shirts from Geoffrey Beene the best. I have tried fitted and slim fit shirts from Kenneth Cole, Perry Ellis and CK. All those shirts have such a tight and narrow opening in the arm pit area that it restricts my movement and chafees on the skin. The perry ellis has been my second favorite but its a distant second. I just wish Geoffrey Beene had more options that were not the Sateen finish.

Like the other reviewer
The fit is consistent with my other GB shirts. One review notes it's tighter than the regular fit. That's the whole point. Unlike slim fits though the arm holes accommodate someone who isn't a bean pole. Beene is the only manufacturer I can find that fits me well as I have a larger arm and a narrow waist. Like the other reviewer, I really wish they'd make more non-sateen shirts.

Order a couple sizes larger than you need!
Way smaller than others! I put this on and about shot the buttons across the room.

looks great, tight fit
It's an attractive shirt and although I can get into it, it is a tighter than a regular fit and really does not work with an undershirt (a shortcoming in a Minnesota winter). I may or may not return it.It would really help if Amazon took the idea of selling clothes seriously and gave us more information on the sizing of clothes. Its sister company, Zappos, is an excellent model, and I'm not talking so much about the amazing Zappos exchange policy as much as I am about the plethora of shirt dimensions, pictures of the shirt on models, and descriptions of the models' measurements. At Amazon, it's like buying a pig in a poke.
