I got this for my 15 month old knowing she would not be old enough to use it correctly yet and it turned out to be one of her favorite toys! Not much keeps her entertained for 15-30 mins at a time but this does very often! She loves pulling them off, pulling them in different containers, and expiring each shape with her hand. A great, open ended toy!

The quality is fine. However, the set is TINY! Also, the description states an age range of 1 - 3. Most two year old children will have difficulty working with this. It's just too small. Forget a one year old. I can see it with a 3 yo. I think I went by the photos which make the item looks much larger than it is. It's only 4.5" square. It's cute but not what I expected. Look at 4.5" on a ruler.

This toy is ok and is probably somewhat helpful with developing fine motor skills. My son who is 19 months was not overly interested in it. He just wanted to turn it upside down :)

This is very small. I thought it would be bigger so little hands could easily work with it

The concept of this toy is great, my 15 month loves to play with it, but within just a month of having it, one of the pegs came out, and a second one came out within 3 months. The wood glue used to keep the pegs on the base is not durable, always supervise your child with this because the pegs could come out and become a choking hazard. The paint on the puzzle pieces is fairly durable, no chipping yet even with being chewed on frequently.

My kid is 3, and been playing with puzzles for some time now. Placing them in the correct order was a breeze for him. But he still had fun and we work other areas with the toy too. It's great for color sorting and following instructions. That is something he's still struggling with. So for a few minutes we played following instructions of only one color or only one shape. So it can be used for any area that your kiddo has to learn. The material is great, doesn't feel cheap, colors are vibrant. There's a bit of wood/paint when you open it. Understandable since is plastic wrapped. But with a few minutes put before using it'll go away. All in all a good buy.
