Sunbeam quality shines through
Have throughout home. Motion sensor for getting up in night and if power goes out instant flashlights throughout home. This is newer version but still fantastic quality

Ready to go flashlights when needed
These lights are great and I highly recommend them. 1) They offer light at night with motion sensor, especially in those really dark areas. 2) Which was the main reason I ordered these lights, they work as flashlights in the case of an emergency and or blackout. They're charging the entire time they are plugged in, providing you light at night, so they are ready to go when you really need them. Since you can plug them in all around your house, you'll always know where they are during those emergency times.

Choose the color that suits your needs.
In 2018, I had purchased this older model of Sunbeam Color Changing LED Power Failure / Night Light, 3 Pack for $19.56. They have performed to my satisfaction and are still operating to date. Recently I had purchased this newer version of Sunbeam 3 Pack, LED Night Lights with Automatic Dusk to Dawn Sensing (5 in 1) for use in other areas. These were the only Multi-Color Motion sensor I found other than the single color of White, blue or red fixed LED. Even though I thought they were overpriced at double the cost of the others, I bought them with the expectation that they would perform as well as the last set have. If they Last as the others, it should be worth the additional cost. 04/27/2023: After using one for a couple of days, I noticed that the range of the motion sensor is greater than the older model.

These are great
Love these lights have them all over the house. These are great touring power outages. but also if you need to get up at night and don't want to turn all the lights.

Great lights
My son found one of these lights outside on the ground years ago. After not finding an owner, we stuck it in his bathroom and I liked it so much I had to find more. Luckily Amazon had them. I love the color-changing light when motion is detected and if the power goes out they light up white, which is nice when your home suddenly goes dark. You can also unplug them and carry them around using the flashlight that's on the bottom of the device.

Motion Sensor Light + Flashlight
After so many trials and errors, these are the best night light. Why? 1. Motion sensor. 2. Fun rainbow color 3. Double up as a flashlight. Will buy again if I ever need more.

The motion-activated light is too bright, and some of the features aren't what you would expect
These lights are very versatile, and I thought they were exactly what I was looking for, but there are problems with motion sensing and brightness that caused me to give them a less than stellar review. Scroll down to "CONS" if you want to know more about that. As I'm discussing the functions of the light, understand that I'm only talking about how it functions in a darkened room. It has a light sensor, so the light is always off in a bright room. The first thing I want to mention is that the description is slightly misleading or unclear on a couple of points. First, the light does not automatically turn on when it loses power. This is probably a good thing, to preserve battery, but if that's what you want, look elsewhere. Second, the "motion sensor switch" doesn't do what you might think. It doesn't affect the motion sensor at all. Here's what it does: there are two levels of brightness on the light. In either setting, the brighter light turns on for 25 seconds when motion is detected. When the "motion sensor switch" is in the on position, the light remains off the rest of the time. When it's in the off position, the light stays on at a dimmer setting the rest of the time. It's counterintuitive, but that's how it works. PROS: 1. I love that there are so many color options. This is fantastic if you want, say, a white light in the kitchen, and a blue light in the bathroom, and it suits the tastes of multiple people in a household if they use different bathrooms in the middle of the night. 2. The design is sleek and attractive. 3. When running on battery power, the flashlight is very bright, and the lantern function is quite usable in a dark room, and will be very nice during a power outage. CONS: 1. There is no way to adjust the brightness or turn off the motion sensing, which is a problem because the light that comes on when motion is detected is too bright. It's definitely too bright for me for a middle-of-the-night bathroom trip, and too bright to be going off every time a dog walks past, or when I get a sip of water while watching TV in the evenings. It's probably more appropriate for emergency use, when the power is out, and you're wide awake, but for minimal lighting so you don't bump into things in the middle of the night, it's too much. However, the more dim light that stays on when the motion sensor switch (that isn't really a motion sensor switch) is in the off position is the perfect brightness for everything except emergency use. So I use this setting, and I've taped over the motion sensor so that the brighter light that is normally activated by the motion sensor is never engaged —though that means they are on all night long, which isn't what I would have preferred. 2. If you don't tape over the motion sensor as I did, be aware that the field in which the sensor activates is fairly narrow. If you can think of a clock face parallel to the floor, with 12:00 at the wall outlet, imagine angled lines coming out from 5:00 and 7:00, and that's my rough estimate of where the sensor will be triggered. So, for example, if you have the light on a side wall in a long hallway, the sensor won't activate until you're pretty much directly in front of the light. This might not be a problem for you, and it might even be beneficial in some rooms, so that the light isn't turning on unnecessarily, but it's something you might want to think about in advance, depending on where you plan to put the lights. 3. Lastly, when the light loses power, it's designed to remain off until it detects motion, and then it turns on for 25 seconds, like it normally does when it's in a powered socket. You can turn on the "emergency lighting" options — the flashlight, or two different white "lantern" lights — by pressing and cycling through the power button, and those options will stay on until you turn them off, but be aware that once you've done that, there's no way to put the light back into motion-activated mode without plugging it back into a powered socket again. That's not necessarily a negative, but if you have your heart set on having motion activated lights all throughout the house during a power outage, then just know that once you press the power button, you'll lose that ability on that light until the power comes back on. And that's about it. You may like the light more than me. I would absolutely have given it five stars and recommended it to everyone I know if there was a way to easily turn off the motion sensor, or to affect the brightness of that motion-activated light. But as it is, I wanted motion-activated nightlights, and instead, I have always-on nightlights with tape on the front of them. Perhaps they won't be too bright for some people, but they are for me. I'm sure I'm going to love them if there's a power outage, because those functions were a huge selling point for me, but for everyday use, they're no better than any other, less expensive nightlight.
