These flip-flops are super comfortable once you break them in! The first time I wore them, the area between my big toe and second toe was a little sore, but not enough that I couldn't wear them again the next day. After that initial wear, they became much more comfortable. For sizing, I normally wear an 8, and my heel sits right at the very back edge of the sandal. If I ordered them again, I might consider going up a half size—but only if it's available. I'm hoping they'll relax a little more with wear. Overall, I really like them. They're comfortable, lightweight, and cute. My only concern is that I don't like my flip-flops looking like they're too small for my feet, so if you're between sizes or prefer a little extra room at the heel, you may want to consider sizing up a half size.
