Time and money saver if you are hammock camping.
I recently bought two of these bags for a long motorcycle camping trip with my boyfriend to be used inside of hammocks. After doing a lot of research on different bags, I chose these for three reasons: First, they pack down tiny and space was extremely limited. Second, they were a good price and I was buying a lot of gear at once. Third and the deciding factor, the bug net hood meant I didn't have to also buy bug nets for the hammocks, saving money, space, and time setting up at the campsite. Some things I like about the sleeping bags:-The bags are an interesting fabric, thicker and tighter weave than most sleeping bags, yet still soft to the touch. there seems to be a thin layer of insulation which adds very little bulk but a good amount of warmth.-The bag packed into the stuff sack very easily. With the fabric being slippery and the whole thing being very flexible, it went into the rather small stuff sack without trouble.-We didn't end up running into as many mosquitoes as we expected, but the netting worked well to keep the sleeping bag in place around my body in the hammock, and also blocked out some of the light in the morning. I was able to position it so it didn't feel like it was taut against my face, and where it was touching, it didn't feel rough like some mosquito netting.-Bag was very tough. Since we were using them in hammocks, the best was to get into them was to stand in them and zip them up around our bodies, then kind of flop into the hammocks. We did a bit of hopping around in them to get situated and they held up even on the sharp rocks and sticks. Some things that were a bit problematic:-The zipper was hard to see since it was black on black fabric.-The zipper could zip up the fabric at times, though it never got stuck-stuck.-Though I was able to draw my knees up inside the bag to sleep in the fetal position, my broad-shouldered boyfriend found the bag to be slightly constricting when fully zipped up. I'm not sure it would be any different in another sleeping bag, however.-My boyfriend broke two of the buckles on the compression sack. Mine were fine so he might have just been unreasonably rough with them, but it would have been nice if they were tougher.Over-all a great bag that we both kept commenting on how much we liked them, even with the downsides. Being able to entirely eliminate a piece of otherwise essential gear from a hammock camping set-up was a life-saver when we were rolling up to our campsites late at night and trying to set up as quickly as possible.

Good bag, good price. Lightweight and good quality.
Ok this is nice. The picture doesn't do this sleeping bag justice, and the price is good.Sleeping temperatures:- i tried this bag at 20C (70F or so..) and its too warm. unless used as quilt- i tried at 10C (50F) and its perfect. I would go to the 7C comfort temp with a layer or so underneath. No doubt that with good layers you can sleep with it at 2C and not freeze. That said, between 7 and 12C seems to be the sweet spot (just as indicated really..) in sleeping bag mode, up to nearly 20 with some ventilationPros:- light and small. Its not much bigger or heavier than my inflatable pillow...- mosquito net: works, easy to close above your face. easy to tuck in if you don't want to use it, doesnt get in the way- comfy, roomy. im 5"11 (1.80m) and fit, there's plenty of extra room. You'd have to be pretty big to start feeling tight in there.- easy to fold back in the compression pack. this is often a pain. not this time. air doesnt get trapped in the bag when you fold it which goes a long way to fitting it in the compression pack easily...- converts into a quilt in a second, and works very well in quilt mode. For some reason, quilt-only "bags" cost 2x the price and cant be used as a sleeping bag.. this one does it all, and does it well. its a no nonsense system.- materials appears to be of good qualityCons:- zippers could have more isolation I guess. But for the temperatures this is made for, not a real issue.

A great lightweight bag for moderate weather.
As stated in the title, this is a great sleeping bag for moderate weather. I've had it out by itself down into the upper 40s (8 or 9 C) and have been comfortable. With the addition of their SF Bivvi bag I've been down to freezing temperatures. The interior fabric is very soft and comfortable. The zippers operate very smoothly and easily. The integrated mosquito/bug net is a great addition. Its weight (around 900 grams) is more than a lightweight down bag, but it's sturdiness more than makes up for the extra weight. This is a bag that you don't have to handle with kid gloves.Overall, this is a great choice for camping from late spring to early fall, and it will last you through the years.

Very good sleeping bag for the price.
This bag is very well put together, lightweight, easy to return into stuff sack, and cinch down easy to make compact.I only have a few concerns about the product.. I do understand that the zippers are not YKK, I just hope that I can keep in mind to be cautious of the bag material getting caught in the zipper while opening and closing the bag. The mosquito net is fine, but if I do end up having to use it during a night in the woods, ill definitely have to find a way to keep it propped up away from my face, otherwise the skeeters will have a buffet right through the screen. My only other concern has to do with the stuff sack itself. As I was testing everything out, I thought I may had been noticing the stitches to the draw straps starting to pull away from the bag. but I may have not noticed it before. But honestly, this bag as a whole is small enough already that you don't have to cinch it down much at all to keep it right along side with all your other essentials. All in all, I really like this sleeping bag. Lightweight, warm, very affordable, soft, and comfortable.I will definitely be recommending this bag to my friends and family.

The material is slippery and it gets twisted up easily, but it feels nice and packs small
The material is slippery and it gets twisted up easily, but it feels nice and packs small. There are three different zippers (bottom, side, bug net) so it's a bit of extra work to zip/unzip and the lightweight material gets caught in the zipper easily. The compression sack that it comes with is easy to get the bag back into. The bug net does not stay in the pouch, so it's a bit annoying having to keep tucking it back in when not in use. If you want to use the bug net, it lays on your face. I used this on hammock camping trips, paired with three season 20R sleep pad I was comfortable at 10 degrees, but was too cold when temperature fell below 5 degree.

Excellent bag for the price
This is a back up that I keep in a tactical bag when you never know where you'll bed down. I've used it three times in the last year. It's surprisingly durable, very compact and kept me adequately warm on a cool night. If you're in a pinch, this is a great bag to have available and you cant beat the price.
