Item work perfectly for my acoustic electric classical!. the factory input was complete garbage, so I needed something good and this one arrived quickly and it was installed within the hour of receiving it.

Lookup "Fishman Jack Endpin Switching Stereo 4 Pin" diagrams/install instructions if you help installing. I replaced the output jack on my Yamaha csf3m so I could have a locking strap and it works. No difference in audio quality as far as I can tell.

I was tired of coiling up the attached cable from the pickup I installed on my acoustic guitar and tucking it inside and pulling it out of the sound hole. There were no instructions included with the end pin jack so I had to determine the pinout. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the tip’s solder connection was located next to the sleeve extension which secured the cable, making it difficult to solder.

Installed on an old acoustic guitar and it felt a little cheap, installation instructions were absent. it was an inexpensive choice but I Would not purchase again and get something from a name brand

Wish I could say more. I only needed it so I could attach a strap to a guitar that had a 1/4 connection where the end pin was. I'm keeping the guitar as a full acoustic converted from an acoustic/electric, so I can't speak to the wiring. 5 stars, would recommend?

This has a good tight fit. It is actually a TRRS. Tip, Ring, Ring2, Shield. It has 3 terminals plus the Shield, four in total. Ring2 gets connected to Shield when a TS or TRS plug is inserted. Since 1/4" TRRS plugs are not common and AFAIK not used in guitars, you can just ignore the Ring2 terminal, or connect it to shield for a little extra contact with the shield.

I bought these specifically for the mental shield that comes with them and they work great, but they were just a little difficult to install as there were no solder instructions. I had to do some research and electrical testing to make sure I was connecting the correct prongs.
