Hatsan Mod 95 Vortex QE Combo Air Rifle, .22 Caliber

Spent a lot of time researching air rifles before I pulled the trigger on this one. Pros: It was shipped quickly and packaged well & discreetly. This is a quality air rifle. The stock is well crafted & beautiful. It is well machined & functions exquisitely. It took very few shots to sight in. After about 50 rounds it is still accurate. Cons: The included scope is at best “adequate”. But what you would expect for the price. Finally, be aware, this is a heavy rifle. A bipod would be a good investment here.

Upon receiving the rifle it was a bit heavier and a bit louder than I had hoped for however it is a nice looking rifle. The scope was not very high quality and is not air rifle compatible. Without the scope it fire accurately once zero had been determined. The problem was that the vortex gas piston failed just outside of the one year warranty. I'm sure the seals failed which upon research is a common problem. Hatsan USA offered to sell me the gas piston under $70 or send it in and they would repair for $100. The trouble was that it was only $199. I would not recommend.

Rifle is quiet, powerful and well made. The packaging was terrible, received with packaging tape holding the box together and a scratch on the scope and several small dents in the beautiful wood stock. It is heavier but does a good job on sage rats out to 55 yards. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice air rifle very nice and soft and good quality walnut stock and very accurate and solid rifle for sure I basulutly love the walnut stock I just love the rifle so so mush for sure just quality of a rifle no doubt

Total waste of $$$. Never met expectations and impact energy lowered after just 3 fires. Seller will not refund. Offering to work on it so now i will be out $ for shipping if I decide to bother.

Very nice air rifle, but quite heavy. Definitely not a toy. Serious knock down power for small game. Excellent steel from Germany and a very nice walnut stock. It takes muscle to cock the break barrel. While not as loud as a .22 firearm its not quiet either.

Excellent fit, finish and overall appearance. Quite a chore to cock at first..it gets easier. Very powerful and quite accuracy with the iron sights. Not particularly quiet (what did I expect at 1200fps !). OVERALL: an excellent buy which is powerful and accurate enough that it should be classified as an realitively inexpensive and useful weapon...not a toy.

All the reviews are when people just bought the gun. I have several other guns and this gun has failed after about about 3 years and firing about 1000 rounds. On further investigation, I found out that there were many with the similar failure. The gun is solid but the piston fails on it and it’s almost not worth replacing it.
