At first I had my doubts, but as I use these shades I find them more & more comfortable and easy on my eye (blind in one). :) They didn't seem incredibly dark, but they are dark enough to take the sting off of my eye for glare and direct light. They fit over my prescription glasses well. They are also light on my face/nose. I am pleased with this product both for quality and cost. Might need to grab another pair as a back-up.

These do exactly what they say they are going to do - they block out the glare of the sun and they fit over your prescription glasses. They are not stylish, they are not even very attractive, but that's not why I bought them. I bought them because I keep misplacing my $150 pair of inserts that are attached by magnets to my prescription lenses and I didn't want to have to spend another $150 for the insert or roughly $500 for prescription sunglasses. At $17.00, the price is excellent. I got the mirrored lenses and they block out the sun VERY well and I like the "side lens" that blocks out the sun when it's not facing the windshield. If you don't care about stylish and just care about being able to see well while these are perfect.

As described. Fits my mid-size, rectangular wire-frame guy glasses perfectly. Sunglasses that you wear over your prescription glasses will never be stylin', but at least these fit well. Knocked off a star because there was no protective sack. Wouldn't expect a large, hardshell case at this price, but at least a cheap cloth drawstring bag would have been nice so you could put them in a jacket pocket or shoulder bag without fear of scratching the plastic lenses. Would cost the manufacturer pennies, and generate a good vibe when taking them out of the box. Better than resorting to an old sock to carry them in!

Wanted polarized mirrored sunglasses that fit over prescription glasses. My Rx glasses are deliberately small so this can take place, but there are so many variation it was exhausting to find something that works. After spending a lot on sunglasses that almost fit, I took the time to find one that offered clear measurements to determine fit. These fell into the fit range and were reasonably priced so gave it a try. I like to have sunglasses in each vehicle so went with more than one. They fit very well, touching the bridge of my nose and not resting on the Rx glasses. They are very effective at blocking glare and they have high rate for UVA and UVB protection. And they are not so large that you look like an alien from Area 51. So far so good. BTW, they do not have rubber/whatever on the temples over the ears, so they will not rot from sweat and sunscreen, like many others I have tossed.

I love and wear it by itself because I like being able to look in the corner of my eyes while driving. Really clean and comfortable polarized lens. Very sturdy too I've dropped it a handful of times 6ft up and it still looks new. It wears big because it's designed to go over glasses. I describe it kind of like big Oakley glasses that are more functional and you could own a dozen for the same price. Highly recommend for functional protection. All sunglasses should be like this IMO. BTW your eyes can only be slightly seen - in a distance no, but up at a side angle yes. Indubitably will buy another!

Nice fit. Not like sun-goggles. 3 stars for the fit and look. Polarizing is great, color is medium/mid dark but lenses are not high quality. Notice small distortions in reflected light. This distorts light coming through which can bring on headaches and distort what you see. Not horrible, but just enough to be noticed. Typical cheap plastic lenses. If lenses reflect a perfectly distortion free image, then the light and images coming through to your eyes will be distortion free. Put well formed lenses in these and they'd be 5 star+. Very Disappointed. UPDATE: Exchanged for another pair. Replacement was delivered fast and second pair have far better lenses although there's still some "minor" distortion along the edge of the lenses where they meet the frame. I say minor as it's not likely noticeable by the average person unless you're looking specifically at details as I do. Rather than return them, I decided the imperfections are so minuscule I'd keep them because the flaws aren't in my field of view and they look better than most over-the-eyeglass-sunglasses. I'm not changing my rating as these are little pricey for what they are, but they do the trick. End result:: They're good enough to take a chance buying, just beware of distorted lenses and exchange them if you get a pair. YMMV... ;)

I've worn eyeglasses for most of my life. Over the years I've tried a few different styles of fit over sunglasses and never really liked any of them. They were HUGE, covering most of my face, and fit poorly - sometimes falling off if I moved my head too quickly. But, I need to protect my eyes from harsh sunlight, and really didn't have the cash to buy new prescription eyeglasses with transition-type lenses at this time so I decided to try these out. I love them! They fit well, look good, and give good protection from the harsh light. I recommend these for anyone needing darker lenses to fit over their regular (prescription) eyeglasses. Make sure to measure for best fit. I ended up needing a smaller size than I would have expected

These aren’t fancy but they do look good on when you get the proper size for your face. They are not expensive so I never worry about losing them, which surprisingly I don’t. I have worn these for a very long time and they last a long time, just don’t get any sweat or tears on the lens; that will ruin the coating. I always have two pairs on the shelf ready should I need another as I have these in my car, shelf basket, everywhere. The sides keep the sun out which is something that once you have that side piece, you’ll never want to be without it. Makes a huge difference. Good, decent sunglasses.
