There's another better known brand that's doing a lot of self-promotion online for their retinol body lotion. I was planning to give it a try to see if my skin texture could be improved, now that I'm a "woman of a certain age". The reviews from other Amazon customers rated this brand and this formula very highly. The price was right as compared to the brand doing all the heavy advertising. Some purchasers had mentioned that this had a stronger scent than they'd anticipated. I find the fragrance to be minimal. It's mild and pleasing. It doesn't fight against any other cologne mist that I want to wear. It feels silky and gentle on my skin, with a nourishing property. It dries with a non-greasy finish. It's light, but effective. Maybe I'm succumbing to wishful thinking, but to me after not even a week of usage, it feels and looks like my skin is looking less crepey and more healthy. I will keep keeping the usage going and hoping for even more improvement in texture and elasticity over time.

I've been using Medix 5.5 Retinol Lotion and I'm honestly impressed! It smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth without any greasy feeling. It absorbs nicely and keeps my skin hydrated all day. Definitely feels like a great investment for my skin care routine and one I buy on repeat. Highly recommend.

Nice scent, no greasy feeling, absorbs real well and is medium consistency; not too thick and not too runny. However, I am not sure that it does much for crepey skin. I don't have a lot of crepey skin but what I do have may have improved a little but if you don't use this stuff every day, you will be right back where you started. I can't say that my skin appearance changed either. It is a nice moisturizer though.

This is an AMAZING PRODUCT!! My legs are alway dry and flaky for my whole life! I put on lotion and it literally crumbles off .. only on my lower legs! Fast forward to 2 years ago I bought this because I wanted to help my legs not to age so quickly. Took my shower and slightly dried and put THIS AMAZING LOTION ON. Straighten up my bathroom and put my night gown on. And just got a water( I drink loads of water) and watched tv for 30mins and I thought my skin feels like it’s tightening. I picked up my nightie and my legs looked amazing.. moisturized and toned. I went to sleep and got up in the AM they stilled looked AMAZING. Went to my appts and came back and NO LOTION FALLING LIKE DANDRUFF OFF MY LEGS!! Ladies YOU NEED THIS! It’s not expensive but it should be!! AWESOME PRODUCT!! Just REMEMBER there is RETINOL. Be careful in the sun!!

Moisturizing and non-greasy. Nice, light scent. Been using for a month and the retinol does not seem to be doing anything different for my skin. Does not seem to work any better than regular lotion so I probably won’t purchase again due to the price.

I consider myself a beauty product junkie/expert. You name it, I've tried it. I have done my research, I've read medical journals, and I've talked to different doctors over the years. I know about skin care and what does and doesn't work. My hobby is studying nutrition, fitness and beauty products. There isn't a product out there that you can apply topically that is going to cure your skin issues overnight. But, if the product has the right ingredients, YOU WILL get results, you just have to be patient. This product has the right ingredients. Always look at the ingredient list on skincare products. It is full of "butters" and one of the first ingredients listed are the Retinol and the Ferulic Acid. That means that there is a higher concentration of these ingredients in the product and they are not secondary ingredients that won't get you real results. If the "magic ingredient" in your product is one of the last things listed, it's going to do virtually nothing for your skin. Most drug store prodcuts fall into this category. Also, this lotion is not going to "ultra moisturize" your skin topically. You're going to think that it's not working because you won't have that "lotiony" feel after you put it on. It quickly soaks in. Many people think that if their skin doesn't feel silky, slimy, and soft right after applying their lotion, that the product isn't moisturizing enough. There is a difference in moisturizing and hydrating. What you really want is hydration. This is where the skin attracts moisture in the deeper layers and is locked in from within. Not sitting on top. Lotions that contain mainly "butters" are hydrating. That's where you're going to see real results. Most lotions sold in stores "moisturize" topically. They contain petrolatum and mineral oil as their main ingredients. You feel all silky and soft at first, but after those lotions soak in (or rub off on your clothes beacause they really don't get down below the surface of your skin) your skin feels dry again a couple hours later. This lotion is not like that. It's going to hydrate your skin with treatment, not superficial oils and chemical emollients. As far as the smell, it doesn't bother me, but I can see why some might not like it. What you're smelling is the shea butter which to many people has a kind of cocoa-ish, baby powderish kind of smell. Some people even say they smell kind of a hint of rose. Shea butter naturally smells like all this. That's a good thing b/c it's the main ingredient in the lotion. If you don't like the smell, then don't buy any products that contain mainly shea butter. Overall, this is a great product. I have been using it for about a month, and I can tell a difference in the quality of my skin. Texture, tone, firmness, etc. It is not going to magically erase age spots or sun spots. You would have to use pure Vitamin C or a bleaching cream containing hydroquinone to topically reduce the appearance those. If you really want to get rid of those, you'd have to break the bank to get them laser treated. For a topical hydration and mild anti-aging treatment, this lotion does work if you use it long enough, but set realistic expectations.

Desde el día 1 se ve la diferencia. Ponerlo en cara antes del maquillaje hace que se vea muuy bien. Usarlo a diario en cara en una persona de 29 años no lo sé. Recomiendo un día si otro no. Usarlo en todo el cuerpo diario o como tú quieras si está bien. 👍 si humecta. No es grasosa. 👌
