Review: Lovely product - Dry good for making jams
Review: Combine with a quarter amount of sugar - Excellent for thickening jams and chutneys. Initially I added the pectin to the pan of fruit, but I could see the white powder as it hadn't dissolved and was in lumps. Second time around I tried to mix it with water, but this became very thick almost like glue. Which meant I had to get a stick blender to make it smooth. Third time, I added it to a quarter of the amount of sugar before adding to the pan of fruit which worked well. When added to the pan of fruit it dissolved really well and thickened the jam. If directions were added to the tub then that would be useful. Having said all of this I will be purchasing again when needed.

Dry good for making jams

Never tried adding pectin separately before and slightly nervous but as my rhubarb and ginger jam was still soft after 48 hrs I had to do something. With the help of ai and the instructions on the pack I managed to obtain a perfect result. I might try putting g in at the beginning next time
