How does this compare in effectiveness versus nutramax cosequin asu broad spectrum formula?

I have not used the asu formula. I use this for my dogs

Do horses seem to like it? My old gray mare is a pretty picky eater!

I've had to ask a lot of questions about picky eaters because my mare is one. Although this is an old question, I'm going to update with suggestions: - CocoSoya from Uckele.com -- cat, dog, horse...they can't resist. Coconut oil, soy oil -- contains Omega 3s, 6s, and 9s that horses can use. No cruddy ingredients, shouldn't make your horse go on an energy-high (aka 'hot'). - Mountain Sunrise brand timothy hay pellets, soaked. (If you can't get Mountain Sunrise brand, make sure whatever you get is low in iron.) Usually only needs 2 cups of dry pellets to 5 cups of water. It makes a nice paste, but you'll have to hand-scrape the tub or bucket afterward as horses tend to push this into the corners of the bucket. Get the most out of your supplement powder by sprinkling it over the top - they'll eat it in the first few chomps. - A senior feed will usually be quite tasty, if your horse so needs such a supplement. - Whatever you do, I do not recommend anything that has a lot of sugar or iron (if you live in the U.S.)

Yes it does. My vet told me to give 1/3rd of a scoop to my 77 lb. GSD
