His attention span is quite short, so he doesn’t have the patience to create patterns from it. My older son (9) enjoys this more. I think he finds it quite therapeutic. It’s made out of sturdy material and the magnets work very well. I would recommend for ages 6 upwards. Although, if gifting to a younger child, there are no loose pieces to worry about. I enjoy using this too, shame it’s not larger as I’d love to create a large picture.
