Yes, the spine is straight to start but you can bend the segments and reposition them to give a more accurate view of the spinal curves. I am very happy with my purchase and excited to use it in my office!

I don’t know what the bad reviews are talking about. As a physical therapist who does a lot of patient education, I think this spine model is amazing in that it’s color coded for different spinal segments and has muscle insertions that helps my patients have a better understanding of their body. Yes, the spine is straight to start but you can bend the segments and reposition them to give a more accurate view of the spinal curves. I am very happy with my purchase and excited to use it in my office!
