Great little gift box! I bought this to duplicate the box I use for my woodless colored pencils that break easily. I filled it with another set of woodless colored pencils as a gift for a grand-daughter. The box holds 8 pencils and protects them from breaking. It's not too large, so it fits inside of a zipper pouch with a sketch book. My original box held a single fountain pen in a foam case.

I use this to hold my makeup utensils like tweezers, eyebrow pencil, and lash glue for on the go. It does in my small purses and comes in handy, also easy to clean.

This would be perfect IF a pencil actually fit. I was able to get three ball point pens (I didn't try to get more) in the box. But pencils are too long which is a pretty big drawback. Otherwise it's perfect. I prefer metal over plastic and the hinged top is a big plus. Really a nice item. Now looking for one that will fit pencils.

It’s a simple product. It’s sturdy and it works well. It’s exactly what you would expect it to be.

I purchased these not to use as pencil cases, but to carry hand rolled herbs. These are the perfect size and store items nicely without being damaged. I’m sure they would work wonderfully as a pencil case, but they come in handy for other things as well. Great buy!
