High quality, USA-sourced collagen. No compaints here.
High quality, USA-sourced collagen powder. All of the other brands I've tried have been pastured cows from South American countries, so it was nice to see a "local" option. Other than the packaging, this collagen is the best I've experienced. Blends extremely well in my morning coffee. The suggested serving size of two tablespoons is definitely noticeable (taste-wise) in my coffee, although not an unpleasant taste, but noticeable minerality and a slight saltiness. I cut it down to a heaping tablespoon and there is no taste now. I'm not using this collagen for a specific ailment/injury/etc, so I cannot speak to it's assistance in repairing and curing, but as a prophylactic supplement it's incredibly easy to use and knowing the benefits of collagen in general, I know it's helping. As for the packaging, it's not really that big of a deal. So what if it doesn't close back up, just fold it up and slap a clip on it. I agree it's less convenient than a plastic tub, but less convenient is ALL it is. It will not affect the quality of the product unless you live outside in a tent, and you put it out in the rain for fun. Often people only seek out supplements when there is already an issue, or they have done damage by overwork. I would highly recommend taking this daily, on a lower dosage than suggested, in order to maintain a level of health that will ultimately help you avoid injury. This way, the bag will last you twice as long, and your body as well as your wallet will be happy. I wanted to also mention that the company sent me a follow-up e-mail after purchase which read: "By the way, our label printer made an error, so you'll notice the package shows a weight of 24 oz. The correct product weight is 21 oz, as it is listed on the Amazon product detail page. Just wanted to let you know so you didn't think we shorted you!"

My Favorite
Iโve been a hairstylist for almost 12 years. Iโve tried so many things out of continuing education classes/certifications and my own curiosity. I enjoy both haircare and skincare. Iโve tried several brands, powders, gummies, and โvitaminsโ at first I loved the one from target (vital proteins) but now Aspen Naturals is my #1. I wish I would have double checked before writing this review but if I recall right, itโs 3rd party tested (double check yourself) Take the time to read about the company and everything behind the story of how itโs created, thatโs what sold me. After using this over a year, stopping after a big move I can tell a difference in how much faster my hair & nails grew along with how healthy my skin looked. The price is expensive but worth it (imo) when you get the bigger bag option. You can stop all the other hair supplements (unless dermatologist told you otherwise) and just use this is your coffee or smoothies. Couldnโt recommend this more. Posted a picture, but also want to put I also use professional products, along with deep conditioning my hair, etc.

great collagen at a great value
I really love this collagen powder. It mixes in easily to hot or room-temp liquids, and I just add it to my morning coffee. It's also an incredibly good value for grass-fed collagen, as many other brands are way overpriced. The only slight drawback to this one is that I would prefer a screw-top container over these ziplock bags for the packaging. Also, this collagen has a very slightly less neutral taste compared to my other favorite brand, Great Lakes. However, this one is substantially less expensive than Great Lakes, so the tradeoff is worth it.

Great powder! (Could use better packaging, though.)
I've started collagen supplements within the last year, and started with You Theory's Costco size bottle. I couldn't take down all 6 tablets at once, and only did half-doses daily. I switched to NeoCell Super Collagen Powder Type 1 & 3 because they were on sale one day, but I ran out. I liked the powder version, so I started searching for a new powder to replace mine. I decided to try Aspen Naturals, as it was the best value for my money, and it came in a powdered form from U.S. cows. I usually mix it in my coffee with a battery-powered frothing stick (the $1.50 ones from IKEA), and it blends quickly and smoothly into my coffee, adding 11 grams of protein, and making my skin noticeably more elastic by the end of the day. I love coffee, but as a diuretic, it can be really dehydrating to my skin. I also have to mention that I have heard that taking vitamin C with collagen would enhance its absorption into your body. I have been adding vitamin C-ester into my morning routine as well, and that could also be affecting my results with this product. However, I have also taken vitamin C-ester supplements along with the two previous collagen brands I have tried, with less noticeable (but still noticeable) results. I'm very happy with this product. My only complaints about the product has to do with its packaging. As the powder is very fine, the "dust" has settled into the zipper closure, and it no longer closes, so I must clip the bag closed. I do have some old empty protein powder containers laying around, but I'm afraid of losing any product in a dust storm, should I try to transfer it into the new jar. If I may suggest to the company, I have seen a company called Bodylogix use pressed recycled paper/sugarcane/wheat or bullrush fibers formed into a jar w/ a screwtop. (Looks just like other protein powder jars.) Inside, there is a bag that is held open at the opening of the jar. You get your powder, you preserve its integrity, you use less plastic, and use renewable resources.

5 stars all around
I use this in my coffee. There is no flavor and it mixes well. My nails are growing quicker. And my hair? Its too soon to tell.

Damage product
This is my second time ordering this product. Even though it doesnโt dissolve easily and it is a fine powder, I liked the clean ingredients, so I ordered it again. Unfortunately, the bag was damaged and it spilled inside the Amazon's package, Iโm not sure if the ants came from within the product or the Amazon package. I wrote an email to Aspen Naturals and hoping to hear back from them soon.

Benefits are amazing!
New to the use and benefits of collagen, a week in, and I'm more than impressed. I bought this because, due to childbirth and hormones, my hair is thinning. I've taken every supplement and tried every "trick" you can think of, little to no results. I have not seen results in that aspect as of yet, even though that was my reason for purchase, but I know that will take time. However, as someone with two herniated discs and severe sciatica in the lower lumbar region, I have to recommend a collagen supplement, because this is the first time in 11 years that I've had any relief. Obviously I know it's not a cure, and I intend to have surgery when time allows, but for now, this keeps the discomfort away. I've been through countless physical therapy sessions, taken too many over the counter meds, prescription meds, and supplements to count; topicals, used different support braces, all in hopes of some relief. Nothing. I'm a week into using this, once a day, and I can bend over without pain. I can walk, sit, sleep, exercise, play with my kids, hold them, pick them up....without pain. I didn't buy this for the relief, but it has given it to me. May not do anything for others, but for me, it has given me my life back. I cleaned my house yesterday, without pain. No tears. Didn't take me all day, I wasn't hobbling around, swearing in pain. If my hair starts to get thicker, ok cool, but what this has done for me far surpasses my intentions. And that is, again, just once a day for a week. Thankful for the benefits this has provided, and would almost insist to anyone wanting to try it, to take the chance. Maybe it will help you as much as it has me. I would also like to add this: clumps in my coffee, but after a stir or 2, they dissolve. With a cold beverage, I put it all in my shaker cup, and have no issues. Sometimes I have to shake, let it settle, then shake again, but it all dissolves. Hope that helps!

Taste-free, sourced from USA cows, well priced. Doesn't dissolve easily in even hot beverage.
I always look to reviews to find great collagen at a reasonable price that won't taint the taste of my coffee. So far, so great with this one. It has a very neutral taste and dissolves well and the price is very reasonable given that the cows are raised in the USA (most collagen powders are made from cows raised in Brazil, even if the company processes the collagen in the USA). While it doesn't dissolve easily, it does eventually if you keep mixing. Because it's half the price of other dependably-sourced collagen, I don't mind the extra effort required. Anecdotally, ingesting two scoops of collagen daily has been a game-changer for me. My hair is much thicker (I'm middle-aged and it had thinned), I never get joint pain whereas before collagen I did, sex feels great again; you lose collagen even in your vaginal walls with age, and I find daily supplementation helps with lubrication...I can't apologize for being frank, I wish anyone else had mentioned this in a collagen review, for me it's proven helpful). Hopefully you'll benefit as well.
