LUBEGARD ENGINE OIL PROTECTANT contains Liquid Wax Ester (LXE) Technology, the lubrication system of the future. Specifically formulated to minimize friction and wear, also to keep the oil cooler in todayโs more complicated engines. All modern engine oils contain a highly refined petroleum or synthetic base oil which is fortified with additives to meet motor oil performance specifications. Even so, dated specifications may not represent the level of performance needed by a new engine design. A new oil may not contain sufficient additives such as ANTI-WEAR agents or ANTI-CORROSION compounds even though it passes all the tests. Furthermore, these protective compounds are depleted when the oil is in service. The solution to this protection gap is LUBEGARD ENGINE OIL PROTECTANT which supplements and enhances the effectiveness of the additive system already present in the oil. LUBEGARD replaces the depleted or insufficient additives and adds LXE wear protectors and friction reducers which are unavailable in any oil. Minimum friction means maximum mileage; minimum wear means maximum service. Blends with ALL motor oils currently produced, including API; SJ, SJ/EC, CG- 4, CH-4, SE, SF, SG, SI, CC, CD, CE, SL, SD, SM and CF motor oils. Helps reduce smoking by restoring flexibility to valve stem seals for improved sealing, also providing outstanding upper cylinder lubricity as it frees up sticking rings. In addition, LUBEGARD increases the thermal and oxidative stability of motor oil to prevent creation of sludge and deposits. There is a need for improved oil additives for protection and mileage in view of the rapid technological changes in modern engine design. LUBEGARD provides a concentrated package that fulfills these deficiencies (without adding ZDDP, Chlorine, inappropriate sludge building additives like PTFE or solid lubricants such as Teflon, graphite or molybdenum disulphide.) LUBEGARD with LXE Technology will carry your engine through to the future! Also use to extend the life of small 4 cycle engines such as; lawn maintenance equipment, motorcycles, snow mobiles, etc. Review: Wundermittel? Review: Lubegard Bio/Tech Engine Oil Protectant may have saved the day! - I have been a user of Lubegard Red transmission additive for many years, so I decided to try the Bio/Tech Engine Oil Protectant for the first time. I added it to the engine in my wife's 2011 Toyota Sienna when I did a recent oil change at 100k miles. This van has the 3.5L 2GR-FE V6, and I've done 10k mile oil changes using 0w-20 full synthetic since new. The engine has always been reliable and uses no oil between changes. About 1,000 miles after this oil change my wife pulled into the driveway and I see a long trail of motor oil being left on the pavement behind her. I check the oil and there is nothing showing on the dipstick. My wife claimed that the oil pressure warning light never came on and that the engine sounded normal. I crawled underneath and determined that a rubber hose between the engine and the oil cooler had developed a pinhole leak which had coated the entire undercarriage with motor oil. I had the van towed to a Toyota dealer and they said that this is a fairly common problem with the 2GR-FE of that era, and that Toyota had updated the part with steel hard lines. This hose repair was completely covered by an extended warranty on that part with no cost to me. The best part is that the engine seems to have survived the oil leak unscathed. I don't know how much motor oil was still left in the engine, but there was a lot of it on the ground. The engine runs and sounds exactly the same as before. Now I can't say for sure that using the Lubegard additive prevented a tragedy in this case, but I do believe that it helped to keep the engine protected during this oil loss problem. I will continue using this Lubegard product in all of my engines from now on for the peace of mind that it brings. Update 05/01/23: I just did the 130k mile oil change on this van and the engine is still running great! Of course, I put in the Lubegard Bio/Tech additive like always. It is a great product and I now use it in all of my engines. I've found that it is cheapest on desertcart in the 32-ounce size and have been buying that recently. Update 08/12/24: The Sienna recently had another oil change at 150k miles and everything is still just fine. The engine runs smoothly and uses no oil between 10k changes. I'm continuing to use the Bio/Tech even though the price has increased (like everything else). By doing my own oil changes I save enough to offset spending more for such a great product. Update 04/08/26: I just completed the 170k mile oil change (still 10k intervals) and everything is perfect. This 3.5L V6 is an amazing engine and still runs like new. It doesn't use any oil between changes and doesn't leak any oil either. I'm still using the Lubegard additive and have just purchased some more. It's nice to see that the price has come down somewhat. I really wish Toyota still offered this V6 engine in their new vehicles. Our 2024 Grand Highlander has the 2.4L four-cylinder turbo, which has adequate power, but it's not in the same league as the 2GR-FE as far as being smooth and quiet. Folks, the bottom line is I still highly recommend the Lubegard Bio/Tech because it is a fantastic product!! Thanks for reading.

Pricey but helps with the Hemi tick
2011 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ 5.7L Hemi. Quieted the Hemi tick pretty much immediately. No long mileage review (<100 km) yet but I bought another bottle for my 19 Highlander. For the next oil change. I suggest running Sea Foam through the crankcase 200 to 300 miles prior to the next oil change on your gas engine. This will clean out some gunk, varnish and any particles can get trapped in the old filter. Just don't go past your oil change interval you don't want to run with a clogged/plugged oil filter. I just heard about this stuff and I think it will help with engine wear too. Not sure about better mileage yet and I won't extend my oil change interval as it isn't worth it to me. This bottle is cheap insurance vs an engine rebuild. There are good YouTube videos that show how well this stuff works. I just wish pricing was similar to US pricing as it seems to be much more expensive here in the Great White North (like double).

Engine should come standard with this stuff
My engine's power increased by 350%. The Camry now has 540hp. At the same time my mileage went from 32 miles/gallon to 56 miles/gallon. Incredible stuff.

Anything LubeGard is very good. I have been using their products for years!!!
Anything LubeGard is very good. I have been using their products for years!!! I also use the trans fluid and fuel treatment. I know it cost more than other products, but it is very good. You get what you pay for. It works. It makes my engine quieter and more gas mileage. It keeps the oil cleaner. I highly recommend this.
