I went back and forth trying to decide between this and a Manhasset stand. The latter being the standard USA-made heavy duty, likely lasts forever, and weighs a lot (but is not collapsable). I went with the Vekkia because its can be taken apart and put in a bag, and am happy I did- it is a surprisingly nice music stand, especially for the cost. The assembly including two piece shelf are sturdy and adjustments are easy. It can easily support a Fake Book which is ~ 2 inches thick. The little springy page holders are kind of light duty compared to the rest of the unit but they do work. The carrying bag I received is still off-gassing from manufacturing but that usually goes away after time. Overall, I think this is a good value and will serve my needs well, which included a stand that could be collapsed and bagged while being substantial enough when assembled.

This music stand extends to 70 inches, much higher than conventional stands. I needed to conduct on a platform to see choir members seated on same level, so I needed something that would hold music securely when extended. This one was highly rated, easy to assemble, easy to adjust, and easy to store. The construction is fairly stout, and so I am confident this is the only music stand I will have to buy. The arms that hold the music in place fold down out of the way when not needed, so that was nice. I didn't need the included travel and storage bag, since I don't plan on taking it apart and taking it anywhere. It would be hard to find a more versatile stand for the money, I am thinking.

The stand arrived ahead of schedule in perfect condition, and that's always a good start. It's reasonably light, very sturdy, easy to assemble, has a good durable finish, "great fit and finish," as they say in the car business. Also has a carrying case. Excellent value, price seemed so reasonable, especially after I saw what I actually got! I'm very pleased and wish I'd bought one of these years ago.

My old portable stand was too small to support my band's ever growing song book. Mostly binders and the occasional tablet. I had a very flimsy and lightweight stand. I have been using this for almost a year now and it's gotten a lot of use. Almost weekly rehearsals and a few shows. It supports laptops and projectors as well but I would be mindful of it being tip prone. In a pinch it's great. If I have to knock anything about it, the knobs are plastic and I can see them getting broken after a few years and I'll have to replace them with metal butterfly knobs. Not a big deal. I lost the spring arms almost immediately. They easily fall out and, going from gig to gig, they were not long for this world. The bag it comes with is very basic but it's free. I ended up using a padded bag to hold this and other gear as well. This thing really does break down well. When broken down the dimensions are 21" x 3.5" (base) and 7" x 16.5" x 2" (easel). Use these sizes when considering a travel bag.

This stand is sturdy, adjustable, and very easy to use. It holds books, notes, or a tablet securely and adjusts to the perfect height for comfortable reading or studying. It’s lightweight but stable, and it works great in small or large spaces. Perfect for studying, reading, or presentations.

I researched using ChatGPT and compared various products available on Amazon. Then I read various reviews. This product had virtually zero negative feedback. The only mild criticism was that it was TOO STURDY and heavy for taking to other places. Still, I view this as a POSITIVE value proposition because other products were negatively reviewed for falling apart because of their plastic components. The stand isn’t even heavy compared to the flimsy stands being sold for about the same price. After assembly, which was initially confusing when perusing the online description but became intuitive with the product in hand, I found the product to be much more robust and sturdy than any music stand I have ever owned. The bottom lip depth is substantial, and the two paper-holding prongs convinced me that my existing laptop stands were no longer needed. The carrying bag was also surprisingly sturdy and of higher quality than I had expected. The material is thicker than the material in other bags I had purchased from companies selling on Amazon in the past. Pro-tip: order some magnetic paper clips like the ones shown in my picture. They attach to the stand with ease and augment the prong holders. They help secure small sheets of loose notebook paper.

Love the compactness of the stand. Music tray is 2 pieces and easy to put together and the stand is stable and easy to fold up and put in the compact bag.

Great piece of equipment; very sturdy & meets my needs with practicing at home. Easy to assemble.

This product is well made. It is easy to build up and once assembled seems sturdy. I bought this because I was looking for a stand to use when seated . Others I have don't go low enough. This Vekkia does that and can equally go high enough to use standing. It is easy to carry around . I would buy this again.
