No, they don't stick on. Place them on the bottom of the pot over the hole and then the potting soil I pour on top keeps the mesh pad in place.

Im confused on the dimensions. It jumps around from 2 inches to 4 inches. What are the dimensions of the product?

I believe the company actually has 2 different sizes available - one is 2” in diameter, the other 4”. I use the 2” size for nearly all of my indoor pots.

Are the holes the same size as window screen mesh? Is this material thicker or thinner than window screen mesh?

Holes are ever so slightly smaller than my front door screen. They appear the same to the naked eye. Material is plastic and is about the same thickness as the plastic replacement screens they sell for doors but thinner than the metal kind.

Do you still need these mesh pads if you have a saucer?

I like to put them to avoid the dirt to come out the bottom
