Great Value for The Price
Would recommend this watch for anyone wanting to see what a dive watch does and looks like. For less than $75 you get a watch that is waterproof to 200 meters with a working bezel, a face that is easy to read, and a watch that keeps accurate time. I have other dive watches but bought this for a vacation because it wouldn't be a big deal if I lost or damaged it. It has a screw down crown that works fine and was easy to set the time and date. The fit is accurate to measurements and isn't too big for my wrist. A couple of items to note: I changed the watch strap because the band that came with it wasn't the most comfortable. I like the nylon bands but purchasing another rubber watch strap would work as well. The bezel works but isn't as smooth as some of the more expensive dive watches. The lume is not very bright and does fade quickly, but unless it is being worn in complete darkness it will not be an issue. This watch is a great purchase for someone new to getting a dive watch or if looking for a daily wear, a watch that doesn't break to the bank to replace, or if looking to see what to expect from a diver if never having owned one. I would definitely recommend this to purchase.

One of the best values in watches
The Casio Duro has earned its reputation as one of the best budget watches available. The overall quality is impressive for the price, with a solid feel and a classic dive watch design that looks great in both casual and everyday settings. The clasp is secure and comfortable, giving confidence that the watch will stay in place throughout the day. The time display is easy to read at a glance, and the rotating bezel and 200-meter water resistance add useful features that make it feel much more expensive than it is. The luminosity is good and makes the hands and markers visible in low-light conditions. I’ve worn this watch regularly, and it has become one of my favorite choices for everyday use. If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-packed watch with excellent quality, it’s hard to beat this one for the money.

Pepsi Looks So Good - Unbelievable value for $63 - Bought for my son.
Wow. This is such a cool watch. I'm a watch guy, I've seen a lot of very high end watches. This is such a quality watch. Pro's : Crystal is super clear, Lume is awesome. Nice green.. ALL the markers are lumed including the dot. One way directional clicks nicely. Easy to set, screw down crown. Light weight. Band is super comfortable. Super clear watch. Great everyday. Con's : Can't think of any. Summary --> What a value. This is a legit watch. I bought the Pepsi on sale for $63 + 8.99 for 3 year warranty. Special edit - Bought for my 11 year old son. He loves watches and has been wearing since ~5. I could not believe what garbage the Timex was for $50 with the plastic crystal. It got so scratched to the point we had to keep a plastic cleaner paste and clean 1x a week. what a joke. We got tired of it. I know I could get him a $15 watch which I have that last about 6 -9 months before they fall apart. I spend money on garbage over the years. I wanted to get him something quality. Life is short, I lost my dad too young and wanted him to have it. Hopefully he doesn't loose it. LOL. He loves it. Hope this helps someone.

Great Inexpensive Waterproof Quartz Watch
I'm a watch snob. I hate quartz. I prefer mechanical watches. Even so, I really like this watch and I wear it now as my daily driver. I'm quite surprised that I could learn to love a cheap $40 watch like this one. I have a collection of elegant mechanical wristwatches, that include everything from the basic stainless steel Swiss dive watch to more expensive French and German horological timepieces with power meters and moon phase complications (but no tourbillions). I bought this watch to replace my daily driver, which was a fully mechanical oyster day-date watch by a famous watch company. My previous daily driver had a band that kept failing due to a heavier than steel case and a band that allowed too much force to be transferred to the spring bars when I would bump the watch into something. As a result the band would bend the spring bars and detach from the oyster case whenever I bumped the case once too often and too hard. (I do this a lot, I'm very hard on watches and I end up eventually destroying every watch that I wear as a daily driver.) My last daily driver invariably ended up have a let-go by the strap while loading some gear, causing it to go bouncing to the ground. My nice day-date mechanical watch ended up taking regular beatings. I typically had to replace the spring bars once every month or two. The third time that I had to replace the crystal I decided that the body was so beaten that I wasn't going to repair it any more. I needed a more durable cheap / disposable watch that I could afford to sacrifice to the rigors of daily activity. The Duro fit the bill. I had reservations about the Duro for several reasons, one being that it's quartz, and I hate quartz watches. I got into mechanical watches because I don't like dealing with the hassle of replacing quartz batteries. Another reservation is that no real dive watch can have a quartz battery, for obvious safety reasons. Another reservation is that I don't particularly like leather or rubber/silicone bands, and prefer a heavy metal oyster-type bracelet. Perhaps the biggest reservation was the ridiculously large size of the Duro, which is so large that it's comical -- the lug-to-lug distance is 48mm and the case diameter is 44mm. With a 44mm case diameter the Duro definitely qualifies as a Bozo / Stallone / Schwarzenegger watch (think Panerai). Much to my surprise, the Duro "wears smaller" on the wrist than its 44/48mm measurements would predict. The lugs are arched downward toward the wrist instead of outwards, so that the band is more likely to wrap downward than to stick out sideways and elevate the watch on your wrist. The rubber strap is well-shaped, flexible and wears quite well. The result is that the watch wears comfortably and much smaller on my 7+ inch wrist than I would have expected. Being someone who believes that an optimal man's watch size is in the range of 38-40mm, I never would have predicted that the 44mm Duro would wear so well. I had reservations about the Bozo size and I had been putting off purchasing it for years because of it. When my other watch finally suffered it's coup de grace, I decided to order the Duro. Those reservations that I had turned out to be unfounded. I recommend this watch. It's good looking, it seems pretty durable, it's got quartz accuracy, the curved lugs don't overhang the wrist, it wears well and the fit and finish are of surprisingly outstanding quality. The mineral crystal is adequately durable, and the one-direction rotating bezel has 30-second clicks. The lume is OK but doesn't have great persistence. At this price point nothing more should be expected. All things considered, it's hard to find a better dive-look watch with such good fit and finish. At this price point my plan is to sacrifice it as a daily beater, throw it away and replace it with another one when it comes time to change the battery. By that time I expect that I will have beaten it to death and I'll need to replace it based on looks alone. When that time comes I'll probably buy another Duro. Highly Recommended, much to my own surprise.

Unbeatable price to function value.
Terrific watch, especially for the price. It's the most accurate watch I own. The lume is not very strong, but for what you're paying, I think it's fair to say it does the job. Other than that, it's tremendous. It has a sleek, elegant look, if you like the slightly large watch case (which I am quite comfortable with on this watch). All kinds of aftermarket modifications can be made as well. What more can I say? Casio is a god-tier watch company, and this knocks it out of the park again.

A lot of watch for a little money!
Casio makes a wide array of watches, and I've owned several during my lifetime. This dive watch seems to be highly rated and sells for a very reasonable price, relative to its apparent quality. The watch case itself is very heavy, and very well finished with its combination of polished and finely brushed stainless steel surfaces. The large rotating bezel gives this watch the high-end look, and the face with its sword-type hands and delicate red pointer second hand goes for the classic Rolex/Tudor/Orient dive watch look. The Japanese quartz movement works silently (I struggled to listen for the "tick" sound, but couldn't hear one). The screw-in type crown works well and operates the date window and hand adjustment smoothly. I think the date window could have been a bit larger, as the date in the window is difficult to read with such a tiny text size. Also, the resin band, which buckles and unbuckles easily and smoothly, could have been silicone instead, as the resin band is rather stiff. But those are fairly minor criticisms for this watch, which so far is a pretty decent performer at a bargain of a price.

One of the best longest lasting affordable whatch
I have owned a few casino GShock watches in the past they have always out lasted me believe it or not 6 yrs or more no issues. I did buy a Casio MDC106 series in the 80s and I remember how good the quality was. So I decided to buy a new one and for the price and the reputation it was a no brainer. When I received this watch I noticed that it was still good quality super comfortable on my wrist. Smooth edges and light weight not like the cheap watches out there. I look forward to a long life on this one

Bought used described as "mint"... It was not. Bought new... Perfect
First - bought this as used. It was described as "mint" condition... It was not. There was an obvious scratch that went across the width of the back case plate. Second - the watch arrived by itself, with no box, just wrapped in a clear bag with green lettering (obviously their "resale bag") inside on of the thin bubble mailers. I know this is a cheap watch but, come on. Other than those two things the watch ran fine. Just disappointed with the condition and packaging *** Update from 2 stars *** Purchased a "new" version. It is flawless. - flawless cosmetic condition - second hand lines up perfectly with all second and hour marks - bezel lines up perfectly at 12 o'clock, spins with solid lock up, no back play, and each click lines up perfectly with all marks, and the black paint/numbers are also perfect with no ripples - date mechanism functions perfectly - crown screws/unscrews nicely with solid clicks when pulled out to adjust date/minutes - I have found that the silicone straps from my original Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy 3 watches fit it perfectly. And as good as it looks with several NATO style straps, I think these different color silicone straps match up great with them, too. As others have said. It's a great value, and looks as nice as my Seiko and Citizen divers. Will update after I've been on a few dives with it

COLLECTOR!
