These colour catchers have the best effectiveness and least filter issues than any other colour catchers out there. They easily catch colour and prevent spoilage and I have never had one stuck in the filter causing me grief. They can be reused if there is little or no colour and they survive being accidentally thrown in the dryer without destroying all of your hard work. They work at 90° for towels which is a huge relief.

I bought these to help save time with laundry, since seperating every white garment from every lightly coloured item can waste a lot of time and water. I wasn't sure how well they worked so in the beginning I only mixed white clothing with very light colours, like yellow or pale green. They worked great. As time went on I got braver and mixed white, red, and black and I was shocked when the white top came out almost brand new! The box does warn to use two sheets when mixing a very dark with a very light colour. I only used one, and there was only the slightest discolouring on the white clothing. I believe if I used two sheets like the box suggested it would have come out perfect. The sheet came out of the laundry a charcoal grey colour, proving that it really did catch all the dye from the water and saving my white clothing.

I originally bought these Shout Color Catcher sheets thinking they’d be one of those “maybe it helps a little” products, but after using them for a while now, I honestly don’t want to do laundry without them anymore. They work exactly as advertised. I’ve used them in loads with mixed colors, darker clothing, newer shirts that tend to bleed dye, and even with towels, and these sheets genuinely help prevent color transfer. The first time I used one, the sheet came out noticeably discolored from trapped dye, which immediately showed me it was actually doing something. The biggest benefit for me is convenience. I don’t feel like I have to obsessively separate every single load anymore. Obviously I’m still careful with brand-new bright reds or deep dark fabrics, but for normal everyday laundry these save a ton of time and let me combine loads with much more confidence. Another thing I like is that they don’t leave behind any residue or weird scent. You just toss one in with the wash and forget about it. Super simple. Obviously they’re not magic — I still wouldn’t throw a brand-new red hoodie in with white towels — but for everyday laundry they work far better than I expected. Definitely one of those products that quietly becomes part of your regular routine once you try it. Easy 5 stars from me.
