I Have Long And Relatively Thick Hair.. I’ve Been Using It For Naturally Lightening My Hair.. Recently The Thermostat Wasn’t Reheating After A Brief Pee Break.. I Thought It Was Broken.. I Let It Completely Unplug And Cool Down And Tried Again.. And Lo And Behold Ir Warmed Up.. However, Now I’m Looking For A Steam Cap To Do Less Damage On My Hair.. Hope That Helps

How long does this take to heat up?

It takes about 5 minutes to heat up are maybe less.
