Pros - Great size funnel - Great flow - ergonomic design makes it easier to hold/handle - Amazing price for what you’re getting, and the plastic isn’t super cheap. - seemingly mess free 😇 - Didn’t break while using it. I have bought some very cheap funnels in the past that have broken while supporting liquids. This one is still going strong 💪 Cons - I didn’t own one sooner - round top little larger than I thought (might make it hard to use in smaller spaces, it’s probably just because I bought this particular one LOL they do make smaller ones ) I absolutely love this funnel. The design allows for it to flow better so that you can continue to pour in your liquid without it “backing up” so to speak. For example, I usually have to slowly pour transmission fluid into my transmission that has a continuous leak, I buy one of the 5 qt Containers that cost me about 27 bucks, and I was using this tiny little funnel it would spill decent amount out because it would backflow so quickly. This one was a little big for what I needed it for, I mean it’s size is it larger than normal I just mean that I’m trying to use this photo to get to my transmission dipstick so I had to add a tube onto the funnel to extend its reach. Was literally able to keep pouring the entire time only stopping to scratch my nose LOL All in all I really do recommend this funnel, but seems silly to go so in-depth over something such as this but… It is surprisingly hard to find a good funnel.

It's not easy to watch yourself writing publicly that you love a plastic funnel, but it's true for me here. I've wasted time carefully and slowly trying to hold a 5-gallon gas can just right in relation to the gas-tank opening (back & arms growing weary) and I've wasted more time spilling gas and then obsessively cleaning the spill. Gas on my hands, on my gloves, and I've thrown away the towels used to clean the area. Most often the gas-can is the problem (gas leaks out between the can and whatever spout-type attachment comes with the can), but I've been the problem a few times. The bowl is enormous, with a 2-inch straight non-flexing spout. For me, it's best for top-loading tanks; for angled-loading tanks (e.g., a car), you'd have to pour more slowly but it should work well as long as you don't have a flap in the fuel neck (between tank and gas cap) that is deeper into the neck than the length of this funnel's spout. I stuck this huge funnel in the top-side opening of my Generac XG portable generator (awesome), and poured wildly in the bowl of this funnel. I drained my entire 5-gallon can into the tank in perhaps 75 seconds. To do this, I had no spout on the gas can and started tilting the can 45 degrees...enough to get the gas rushing into the funnel but not so fast that the gas ever overflowed the funnel's bowl. I continued increasing the tilt until all the gas was out of the can and into the tank -- I was very aggressive in the pour, near reckless. No spill, I love this funnel.

I didn't think this would fit my cars fuel tank opening and so as I expected I have to use it inside a slightly smaller funnel that fits my cars gas tank and it works pretty well. This bigger diameter funnel will flow the fuel as quickly as I can pour it in and I also really like the fine wire mesh filter that friction fits where the funnel "hopper" transitions to the "throat." It does a great job of filtering even small particles that may have gotten into my 5 gallon gas can. I liked it so much I actually bought another to use with my diesel fuel vehicles.

I refill my off road diesel pump tank with the five and six gallon fuel cans I fill at the gas stations. The funnel I've used was so slow with the screen in place it would take more than a minute per gallon, the cans gets heavy and you spill a bunch of fuel. This funnel is large, it holds a lot so I'm not spilling out the sides of the funnel, and the screen is around 2 inches in diameter so it drains as fast as I want to pour the fuel, and the funnel is not deforming from the weight of the fuel can resting on the lip. I don't have to use my old decaying fuel can nozzles (that I haven't found a good replacement for) or deal with the new fuel can nozzles that I've had the dis-pleasure of using one time.

I saw this funnel on Amazon and it was what I've been looking for, so I ordered it ... without reading the specs. When I opened the box, "Good Glucka Blucka" was the first words out of my mouth and I was quite surprised. I thought it was a normal size 6" or so ... nope ... it's just as described, if I had read the specs ... GIANT. Excellent and actually just what I needed. This will do great for fueling my tractor and miscellaneous fueling needs. I can upend larger containers in the funnel when draining or transferring liquids. Shipping was quick. Many thanks ...

Perfect for my needs to fill my riding lawnmower fuel reservoir. Very sturdy, quality plastic, well designed, stays put so no need to hold it when pouring. I can now fill the gas tank without spilling a drop! It's a keeper at a very fair price, best of all, it's MADE IN THE USA.

The funnel is huge and that's why we bought it. We needed a large funnel that would help prevent spills when transferring clean water, grey water, and gasoline in a very delicate eco environment during a desert art and music festival. Most of the spills we experienced in the past happened while moving the liquids from the collection containers to our evaporators, camp toilet, or storage containers. The large Hopkins funnel served us well in all capacities and prevented all spills. What was an added bonus was the screen that snaps into the bottom of the funnel. When transferring grey water, it collected hair and food particles that went right into the trash instead of our evaporators or camp toilet flush tank. In the past we had to create a makeshift screen out of an old t-shirt to catch the solids. After cleaning the screen and funnel thoroughly we used the funnel for collecting melt water from our coolers to use in our camp solar showers. On the last day we used the funnel to transfer gasoline from a bulky and hard to manuever 5 gallon container to a smaller 2 gallon container to transfer gasoline to our truck's gas tank. I'm happy to say we had basically zero spills of any kind on this trip from using the funnel. For a few bucks it was an essential purchase for our camp.

It is the biggest funnel ever, it’s made for easy fill any thing , oil. Gas , any liquid, it came with a fine net for purifying oil from residue when u pour it into an engin, my old small funnel was a pain when I change oil to my three cars.
